pilots typically have a different logo and no other credits. the writer, director, and maybe exec producer will come at the end before company logos.

i love this scene between Finn & Mrs Dean. The counting is sooooooooo slow. And of course the first guy in the door isn't looking at them and then in comes Hamilton and he thinks nothing of his mum being there. Or does he?

Finn is played by Jeremy Sisto... he was in Southland... played Abbey's brother on ER.... main character in Saved.

Sheida -- All the actors except the five protagonists changed from the UP to the aired series. The others, except "Finn," were all locals, and when the venue changed from Georgia to Maryland, the Georgia locals were replaced by Maryland locals. The guy who played "Finn" in the UP, Jeremy Sisto, left YA to play Jesus in a Bible flick. But no loss, I like Quinn much better than Sisto (although no doubt Jessica will disagree ...)

That line about Scout's 'brain' always seemed a bit bold. I never did like the bit about using Scout's cellphone (a novelty 11 years ago) or BMW when clearly he has no phone on him. But Bella's line about not being polite to point is funny. The confession in the woods as well as why they are in the woods is explained in the pilot. This i think is a major set up for the entire show. And much of it is missing from The Beginning.

It is a bit weird. I mean, obviously he's only in his boxers and doesn't have his phone with him, even if he owns one.

There is some odd edit to the music when Scout looks at Bella's father. I love how Bella calls him Master Scout; it is so formal in the middle of a very personal conversation. His speech about wanting to kiss her is ended by her kissing him. Classic
