Unaired pilot discussion thread
Anyone else seen the unaired pilot? I broke out my (very bad quality) tape last night and had a good old snigger. I'm so glad they got rid of dodgy!Finn and dodgy!Charlie. And I really liked Jake's hair.
My tape quality was so bad that for some reason, it made everyone's teeth and eyes look really horrible. Everyone looked as though they had incredibly bad buck teeth, which was particularly unfortunate for Bella because she smiled a lot. I was rolling around in hysterics during the whole Bella/Scout kissing scene because it looked as though she was gonna eat him alive. __________________

 During the scene where Hamilton asks Jake about his/ her parents, she says "Hack into my *dad's* account..." it would have been very different without Monica Pratt... They also changed a lot of music. And that ending...cow tipping?  They edited the hacking scene, that's why Jake's name wasn't mentioned at all during the pilot.  ^the blue..the red...  ^  ^Rawley Horror.  unaired pilot Hamilton sounded more like 15. His tone was different too, esp. when he said that he "wasn't a narc or anything..." it's a good thing that they changed that. I liked unaired pilot! Will's dad. I wonder why they changed that. He only appeared once, anyway. Jake's hair was pretty. He/ She was pretty. She looked like a girl when Ham saw her for the first time, though. Her cheeks were flushed (remember the Hamilton doll?)  while she stared across the hall. Pretty girl, pretty boy.  __________________

 the unaired pilot. Jake was really cute with the girly face and floppy hair. I didn't like Charlie, he was way too young to be Bella's dad (even if he's only stepdad). And also he acted way too arrogant towards Scout if you guys noticed. The same with Ham's mom. She was probably prettier than the Kate we know, but she was way too young. It looked like she gave birth to Ham when she was 15. Anyway, there was a lot more chemistry between Kate and Finn in the unaired pilot. The chemistry between K & F in the episodes was nonexistent IMO. |

I definitely think everyone's parents were too young. Except for Brian Krudski, he was totally old.
Oh, I loved the bit where Jake dodged the seniors who stripped the freshmen! Would have been a very short stay at Rawley if she'd been caught by them. I made a Scout/Bella music video with The New Radicals' Someday We'll Know as a hat-tip to the unaired pilot.  The cow tipping was so weird. I'm so glad they cut that out. And anyone notice that Finn and Kate stopped kissing only after the first student came into the room? God, how obvious!  __________________

 It's strange that nobody noticed. BTW, Hamilton was among the first people to arrive  And I totally loved the part about Jake dodging the seniors, as well. cute |

I never saw the unaired pilot. I only managed to see the hacking scene, but I didn't see anything else. Bummer.

Wait a minute. I've never seen the unaired pilot BUT i have seen the episodes in Spain and he said this "i'm not a narc or anything" and will's father appears in a scene. Did I miss something?

Will's father was a reshoot, becaue in the unaired pilot someone else played him, and we saw him in Will's dorm room, not out in the truck. These are all the people I can think of that were different in the unaired pilot and for whom they had to do reshoots: Finn Kate Fleming Brian Krudski Susan Krudski Charlie Banks Grace Banks __________________

I've seen the unaired pilot a long time ago, but if I remember correctly, I liked the ending scene with Scout/Bella/Will and that's when I first heard "Someday We'll Know" which I fell in love with at the time.
My tape is pretty bad too and all the color is distorted, but it's still fun having a "secret" episode of sorts to watch. __________________

There are three different Charlies.The evolution of Charlie Banks: unaired pilot!Charlie is blond aired pilot!Charlie has darkish hair and looks very grave 1x02-1x08!Charlie has dark hair and looks friendlier I don't think the unaired pilot is up for download anywhere... __________________

I'm curious! I have the unaired pilot on dvd and jeremy sisto (six feet under) plays finn, but does somebody know who is the actress playing Grace Banks? I really want to know who is that girl. When i first saw her i was like "OMG, that girl stole Angelina Jolie's lips!!!".
Any other info about the actors of the unaired pilot is always welcome! __________________
