Six Degrees of Separation - YA style

Eek, I'm posting a new thread for the first time

Ok, so here's where you can make your links from on YA cast member to another (and we already know that there are some freakish connections out there)

So, I guess we need to establish what constitutes a "link". My suggestion would be family relations, romantic connections (rumoured and confirmed) and professional ones. Or do we include even friends? It's up to you guys.

Here's one I did over in the Jahammer thread already:

1st Link: Kate to Paris

2nd Link: Paris to Nicole

3rd Link: Nicole to Ian

Your turn

Okay, I don't have any connections figured out already, but how about we randomly pick a celebrity and go from there? I was going to say Shia Lebouf(sp?) but then I remembered Eagle Eye had 'Caroline' in it.

Hmm it could be like the vending machine game, where one person mentions a celebrity and the person below has to find a connection and so on

There's an idea.

So, can I be the first to throw one out there?

I'm gonna say Joaquin Phoenix.

Hm, let me see. Hugh Jackman was in Kate & Leopold(sp?) with Meg Ryan. Meg Ryan was in Sleepless in Seattle with Rosie O'Donnel, who is said to be a big fan of TLW. Here she is with the cast, including Kate M.

Does that work? For the next one how about Katherine Heigl of Grey's Anatomy?

Christian Bale was in Batman Begins with Katie Holmes, who was in DC where Will's character first appeared. Bam! I'm really surprised at how easy these are.

Let's try Tom Cruise.

Ok, Tom Cruise was in War of the Worlds with Dakota Fanning, who was in Man on Fire with Denzel Washington, who was in Remember the Titans with Kate B.

Yeah, these things are pretty easy. We need to figure out a way to make them a little harder.

But for now, I say Susan Sarandon.

Let's see. Susan Sarandon was in Elizabethtown with Orlando Bloom, who was once linked to KB.

Right. And it's not like I'm purposely throwing easy ones out there, they just turn out to be fairly simple.

How about Brad Pitt?

Brad to Gwyneth to Kate M. I think that might have been the easiest one so far

Will Smith?

Ahh, I totally forgot that Brad and Gwyneth dated.

And I think I'll pass on Will Smith. Nothing comes to mind.
