Almost 1 year since the last post...

Caroline still on the rise:
The Heartbreak Kid (2007) with Ben Stiller
The story centers on a man who is convinced that he has finally met the right girl and marries too quickly. While on his honeymoon and in the process of discovering that his new bride is a nightmare, he meets the girl of his dreams.

Gone Baby Gone (2007) with Morgan Freeman, Casey Affleck, and Ed Harris. Directed by Ben Affleck
Dorchester, one of the toughest neighborhoods in all of Boston, is no place for the weak or innocent. Its a territory defined by hard heads and even harder luck, its streets littered with broken families, hearts, dreams. When one of its own, a 4-year-old girl, goes missing, private investigators Patrick Kenzie and Angela Gennaro don't want the case. But after pleas from the child's aunt, they open an investigation that will ultimately risk everything -- their relationship, their sanity, and even their lives -- to find a little girl-lost.

Made of Honor (2008) with Patrick Dempsey
A guy in love with an engaged woman tries to win her over after she asks him to be her maid of honor.

I know that Brad Pitt, Tom Cruise, Morgan Freeman, Robert Downey Jr., Ben Affleck, Ben Stiller, Angelina Jolie, Charlize Theron, Matt Damon, and Michael Douglas hardly constitutes as "everyone" in Hollywood...but they're big stars and Michelle has appeared alongside all of them. I'll say it again...not bad at all Caroline! ;)

...and she's managed to do all that in what, 4, 5 years? And have time to get married(2005)? Give this girl an award or something.

I think they constitute as "almost everyone". ;) Michelle has done so well for herself, it's incredible!

I'm not really into Ben Stiller comedies, but might watch The Heartbreak Kid just for her.

I just watched the trailer for Gone Baby Gone and it looks so good. I can't wait to watch it!

Haven't seen the trailer but Casey Affleck did a great performance in Ocean's 13.

Michelle's probably done better than all of the other YA actors, if you base it on the movies she's worked on. (and the actors she's worked with, obviously.)

Yeah, it's amazing. She also managed to play so many different characters - just shows how good she is. :)

Monaghan, Fillion and More Gear Up for 'Trucker'

Quote:

In a nice change of pace, the trucker is being played by Michelle herself, and her character leads "a careless life with no responsibility until she has to take in her estranged 11-year-old son (Bennett) after his father (Bratt) is hospitalized." The actress is so into this role that she not only signed on before they got financing, but she also became a licensed tractor-trailer driver. Either this is a meaty role, or she's been itching to entertain her inner trucker. There is no word who Fillion will play, but hopefully it will be something to give the man some long-deserved recognition.

Wow. :D The movie sounds good. Let's face it, anything with Michelle and Nathan Fillion in it is something I'd definitely watch. ;)

Ben Affleck film pulled in the U.K.

Quote:

...has been pulled from release schedules in the United Kingdom by Miramax because of similarities to the case of a missing British girl named Madeleine McCann, who has captured the hearts of the country.

Gone Baby Gone was set to play at the London Film Festival in late October but that booking has been canceled as well. The film is still scheduled to open stateside on October 19th.

:sigh: Let's hope for a UK release date sometime in the future then.
