As for driving, it's intimidating at first but, once you get the hang of it, it's fun! I took formal driving lessons and my driver's test in New York City. Driving in New York city can take years off your life. Trust me!

Ah yes, sun. I remember that! lol It was very sunny in Greece, I saw a grand total of 4 clouds for the entire time! Then I get back to England and it's really sunny when I'm cooped up inside for a dance contest. It's all grey and crap now, but the contest is nearly over so I'm hoping it'll brighten up once I'm properly on holidays. Too bad I'm swamped with college essays.

I think it's a good thing your test has been rescheduled, Anja. This way you'll be better prepared for it, and you can have more fun (getting wasted) on the actual day. lol

I'm so sick of this dancing contest, it's driving me crazy. It's the Nationals, so we're competing against hte Irish, the Canadians and the French. Only one day left though, thank goodness - I don't think I could survive any more!

cool , i just posted a tiny review on it in my LJ . and i just saw the begining again ..i dont know if its already over in the states cus what i heard it was only a few eps of season 2 then they cancelled it ..cus the last eps i saw was jack getting tru´s one true love [luc] killed and jack then talking to her dad . thats as far as i seen dunno if theres more eps after that or not

Sophie - The one you saw was the end of season 1; episode 20. (And Luc so isn't Tru's one true love - pah! It's Tru/Jack for me all the way. They are the soulmates. ) There are six season 2 episodes after that before they cancelled it.

Anyway, here's the fic if you want to read it. It won't make much sense, though, because a few new characters (Jensen, Carrie, Avery & Tyler) were introduced at the start of the new season. If you've got bit torrent, you can download the episodes quite easily. The complete DVD box set is coming out next month, too. But I don't know how else you can get the season 2 episodes. Unless of course your TV network airs them soon!

Anyway, I'm thinking of getting a paid site soon, so I can upload music videos and stuff. I've been poking around and so far the best deal I've seen is with bravenet. It's $7 a month and you get 1GB of storage space. Is that good, does anyone have anything I can compare it to?

Anne My driving teacher simply didn't enter me for the April 4th exam and decided it would be better if I'd take it a week later. We still have to drive one hour on the highway and we both didn't have time to do that this week, so it's probably best that I take the exam a week later.

Nicky, I miss you on MSN, you know that, right? I have no idea about paid sites, so I can't help you with that. Getting a paid site will include getting your own domain, right? Will you move your sites to the paid site then?

ahh , oh i just said true love cus of the show ,cus im feeling that chemistry btw jack and tru also lol alot actully in the last eps of the season . oh ill just wait till after sunday and read it cus the danich channels have tru calling on sundays and the swedich channels got it last night .

oh i might order the dvd´s as soon as i have gotten my carnivale dvd [they arent cheap and im broke so ill have to wait]


about paid websites , ehm i use geocities mainly cus its the only damn site i can figure out lol . i know they have paid accounts also [mines free] but i dunno i never really checked the prices and such

Yes, and no. I've seen too many paid sites go kerpfft when their owners stop paying, and I don't want that for my fanfic site and the anthesiac one. (BTW - is New Beginnings offline for good? ) I'll use the paid site as a portal to my other sites, and also use it to hold big files like music and videos. Finally being able to upload music videos would be an incentive for me to make them - I've always been really into that, but haven't had a chance to really play around with it.

Sophie - I use geocities for my free sites, but their paid plans are really crap. Their most expensive plan only has 25MB storage space. And when you compare it to others, who are cheaper and give you 1GB of space, it's sort of no competition. I want the most for my money, dammit!

I was counting clouds because there were so few! Seriously, even when it's sunny in England there are clouds looming. Even now, and it's pretty warm out. So yeah, I counted . . . not intentionally, it just sorts happened!

Contest went reasonably well. I broke my ankle yesterday though lol I was performing my second routine and landed badly after a grande jété. The team did excellently, we won highest points team, but I couldn't perform any more solo events. The team events are over the first few days, and the solo events on hte last, so I didn't do the other seven routines I had planned. We won every team event, and I got 4th out of 37 for the first routine I did, plus the sympathy award for my ankle. So pretty good I thought.

I've never heard of ****, Anja. Are they good?

I don't think Tru Calling is playing on normal TV over here, but they keep advertising it on E4 and it looks good. I'll have to see if my friend can get hold of them for me, she has more channels than me lol
