Looking Ahead ~ YA 5 year Anniversary

So, it's coming up this summer - the five year anniversary of our favorite show. I know it's still like 10 months away, but we didn't have a 4 year Gathering, and I for one would really like to have another Gathering for the 5-year reunion.

I know there's many of you who have never attended a Gathering and would like to. I know those of us who have been to them before missed not having one last year. I know I'd like to see everyone again, and it would be really nice to revisit Havre de Grace 5 years after YA.

I wanted to open up this thread early to see how much interest is out there for a reunion and to see if we want to get something going for next summer. It's always best to start early in planning these things.

So, who's with me? Will it be HdG in 2005?

How many Americans still frequent this board? And how many of the international posters would be able to get to HdG?

I would love to go, but I think 2005 is out of the question for me.

I would love to come to HdG, but I don't think I'll be able to make it. I really don't have the money to just fly to the US for only 3 days, and I don't think I can stay longer because of school. As far as I remember, the gatherings always were a long time before my holidays started.

Is your hubby a YA fan Shakes? If not, you should pin him down and force him to watch all eight episodes in one go.

Ermmm, no. But I've been routing for Kate M since forever, (well for the last three years, can you beleive it, I used to have to watch all the eight eppies, daily), and we've both started watching the L Word together, last week and dang it, he's so into Kate now, I've got competition, major time!!! grrrrrrrrrrr

Sure! We've had husbands, significant others, kids there before. We share the love with all.

Oh, and about the time frame... usually it's 3 days in HdG and in the past some people chose to spend a few days to a week in Baltimore or New York as well.

~Slicey

p.s. past Gatherings have included fans from the U.S., Canada, England, Scotland, and Australia.
