Jen brought that perfect balance of toughness, isolation, emotive empathy, soulful character, true grit, and raw untameable wildness to her District 12 Huntress with a heart of gold. one of the most outstanding acting moments of Jen as Katniss, was the first minute of Catching Fire, when you see that still shell-shocked, post-traumatic thousand yard stare in her eyes, as she is crouched by the lake, you can viscerally feel her pain and misery at taking the lives of other kids in order to stay alive and get back to her family. powerful acting!
