It sucks we only have a few moments with them to cherish now.

I don't even care if they're a boring couple. I would still prefer Matthew to be alive and be a proper father.

My dad has been watching my Downton DVDs and finally got to Matthew's death. He texted me, and I quote, "WHAT? NO! THIS CHANGES THE WHOLE SHOW FOR ME!"

It's definitely fun! My dad and I have such random yet similar tastes. The last show we watched and texted about was The Killing. Now it's Downton.

I'm sorry your mom and sis aren't into DA. Blah. Hopefully you have friends who watch?

Oh yes I have lots of friends who watch which is a relief. There used to be a time when I was the only one watching. By the time S3 was airing in the UK, a lot of my friends were already watching/catching-up.

Have started reading Orangeshippers M&M fanfiction.

Recommend All That is Left. I loved this fic so made a graphic for it

Other great fics by her are:
Of Course its the End and it's sequel An End to All things (warning tho don't read if you don't like adultry in fics)

And Fuel on Fire (already recommended in the OP) and it's sequel With All the Time in the World.

Also started reading Birthright and the Open Secret by Willa Dedalus that I highly recommend both ongoing multichaptered fics that are regularly updated.

Same here. It's been such a loooong time I have last read a M/M fic. After Matthew died, I wanted to live in misery so I can't bring myself to read AU fics of Matthew alive.
