I'm so glad S4 rectified the very scarce moments we had of them in S3. Isobel was mainly off with Ethel and Violet mostly with the family or Robert/Cora but not with Isobel. They have really been the best of friends in S4 and my heart always melts thinking about that ep Violet got sick and Isobel didn't want to leave her side.

Are you re-watching the eps on PBS? I have to re-watch ep 6 but I do remember this was a wonderful ep for these two.

One of my favorite Violet/Isobel scenes in S4. Violet is trying to be patient and nice after Isobel nursed her back to health. Love the "Oh! Goody, goody!" The two of them are such a hoot together!

To date, that's my favorite Violet/Isobel scene too. My favorite ep for them actually. I was so touched by Isobel and how much she cares for Violet even if she doesn't usually show it. Violet should be more appreciative.

Violet and Isobel...their relationship is very complicated! It can be congenial and warm one minute and contentious and cold the next. But always, always entertaining!
