Description
An extravagant house party at the Abbey gives the Crawleys a chance to reconnect with old friends and culminates in a performance by opera singer Dame Nellie Melba.

But some guests prove more welcome than others and along with the celebrations come skulduggery and heartache.

Below stairs, with preparations in full swing tensions run high, and Mrs Patmore begins to feel the strain.

Jimmy’s attempts to impress Ivy in front of love-rival Alfred don’t go to plan, and hapless Molesley is made an offer of employment he finds hard to refuse.

I'm looking forward for the party at Downton.

Who is that glamorous pirate who looks to be having fun with Mary? And I'm totally loving Isobel's look at them at the dinner table.

I do have that strange kind of feeling about E3. As if something bad is going to happen. But on the other hand Mary for instance has been through so terribly much, so I think it would be rather unlikely for her to suffer again in the third episode already.

Based on the trailer, I don't have a bad feeling about this ep. Although I do know that at some point, the ep will pull at my heartstrings once again. :(

OH DEAR GOD. Just when I was thinking during the episode that I have nothing to root for, everything changes and I'm now rooting for Anna.

That was horrific, I thought an affair story line may be on it's way, but rape I just cant process it. I had my hands over my face the entire time, I just couldn't stop crying. Anna's story is the one I'm fully invested in this season now. She is going to spiral and it is going to be heartbreaking to watch.

There were other parts I loved and hated about the episode but right now they all fail and seem so trivial right now compared to Anna. :(

She better not end up pregnant, I just .... just no

The episode was sick. Did we really need to see a rape with all the violence associated with it? I mean he punched Anna on top of it.
