i have now watched this ep a little under a week ago so i have forgotten a lot of what went down. i do know that i didnt think it was as strong as episode 5, and that i think it has set up episode 7 in quite a strong way, so im looking forward to that.

what i did love, those two idiots finally finding out that marty is pushing jeannie out, how this could be a surprise to them i will never know... harvard my ass.

doug calling her yoko and both jeannie and clydes reactions to that is priceless.

i also enjoyed the opening scene with the business pitch and jeannie threatening to expose her belly.

good on kelsey for the job offer as well.

roscoe is clearly off the rails which i dont love, however his conversation with marty at the end was pretty special and i love that he called him out on the fact that he doesnt even acknowledge this baby's existence.

i think we all knew that he was only going to get as far as the parking lot.

marty was obviously less than thrilled with the implications of the result of the stock.
you dont know what you want till its gone i guess, although judging by the promo for the next ep... its not gone

i really liked the ep

i love how the pod worked in getting the stock price up

loved doug and clyde's ("doesn't mean i want you to leave") reaction to jeannie possibly leaving

would love to see jeannie and kelsey more even if she doesnt go work for her

and yes marty's reaction to the stock hitting $200 was definitely interesting.. if he can just admit it to himself now..

how great was that? best episode of the season for me so far... by far.
loved that opening scene with jeannie on the brink trying to control her emotions with marty...
the punch was my very favorite thing probably ever, for obvious reasons, but i also really loved marty's smile to the camera right at the end. it was cheeky and perfect.

gonna be interesting to see where they take this now... i think payback is gonna be a bitch for Ellis. he deserves it.

jeannie losing it in marty's office was the most vulnerable thing I've seen on the show and it really allowed you to see kb's range as an actor - the scene started with her trying to create an inroads, then an explosion of anger and passion, then finally a calculated threat. don at the end of the ep was great - his face had relief and joy on it, as if he had finally come to terms with this thing between him and jeannie. now they can combine and crush ellis. the roscoe situation looks bleak - he's not going to stop doing his illegal business.
