Andrew Garfield Was "in a Dark Place" Before Emma Stone Split - Us Weekly

"He'd been in a dark place for months, getting into his role," a second insider tells Us of the Never Let Me Go actor, 31, who lost nearly 40 pounds in preparation for the film and has been shooting in Taiwan since January. "He wasn't being the best partner."

I wasn't really "invested" but I liked them. But, you know you can't
trust rag sheets. Who knows? They might get back together after he
finishes this movie that he's being all "method" on.
If you pay attention to stuff like this-I have noticed that most actors who
work together that hook up while filming, last about 3 years.

Andrew's parents were at the Aloha premiere and greeted Emma very warmly.

Perhaps a sign that things are still good?

It could have just been a temporary break because Andrew was off filming Silence with Scorsese.

Apparently Emma has been spotted with Andrew in LA today.

I suspect the whole "break" or "break up" story was complete bunk.

All the rags that were going on about it were saying it was an anonymous source close to the couple, but made it sound like Andrew and Emma announced a split when neither one has ever said a single word.
I'm sure there wasn't a break, simply the simple fact they were on different continents while Andrew was filming. If the sighting of them together today is accurate they are back together literally the first moment that Andrew returned.

Yeah, when Diane brought up Andrew's quote to Emma in their recent interview I had a feeling then that they must have still been together. Plus, that pap pic with Emma holding a bag with Andrew's name on it. I really liked them together so if things are still good, then yay!

Well, I just don't know anything anymore. I thought the mag that released the "break-up" info was one of the most reliable ones, used by publicists and what not? Well, idc tbh, as long as they're both happy

The first magazine reporting the "break up" was Star Magazine, definitely not the most reliable source of info. Some of the more reputable magazines reported on it later, but they were all going off of Star's original story.
Basically after Star started the whole thing everyone else just piled on not wanting to be left out of the gossip loop, despite not 1 shred of real evidence other than they haven't been seen together in a while.
