Post any information you find on how the show is doing ratings wise in here please!

I admit I don't really understand or know how the ratings work, I have had a hard time figuring it out, so many people have tried to explain it to me but it is still so confusing


Here are a couple of articles about the ratings the the past couple of episodes:

Thanks to its comedy block, CBS still led the night in key demos — tied with the other three nets in 18-49 and winning outright in 25-54 — but “Intelligence” settled for a 1.1 rating/3 share in adults 18-49 and 6.1 million viewers overall, according to Nielsen prelims, down 54% in the demo and 63% in overall audience from its preview last Tuesday behind an original episode of “NCIS.” The Eye was hoping to strengthen its standing in Monday’s 10 o’clock hour after “Hostages” performed poorly there, but the Josh Holloway-fronted “Intelligence” wasn’t much of an improvement.

It really sucks that they aired the pilot on a different day then the second episode. I think that confused a lot of people so they didn't tune in

I don't live in the U.S. but it took me some good explaining (by other posters) and reading up to understand ratings. For the big networks (CBS, ABC, FOX & NBC), I think to keep their shows afloat, a 2.0 in demo is acceptable. If they have ratings like the CW (which average around 0.6 to 1.1 depending on the show), then that show will be cancelled. CW doesn't even compete ratings-wise with the big 4. I heard their highest rated show is SPN which averages 1.1 in demo.

Here is what I could find ratings from last nights episode:

“Intelligence” (1.1/3 in 18-49, 5.6 million viewers overall). The Josh Holloway-Marg Helgenberger drama was down a tick from its modest Monday premiere of last week and about on par with previous timeslot occupant “Hostages.”

Here are the Saturday repeat ratings for Red X. I don't know how Saturday night shows normally do, but Intelligence seems to be doing ok compared to the other shows.

That is pretty good ratings especially considering it was a episode that already aired.

I hope it picks up too. I honestly am not sure what other shows are on at that time and how they compare ratings wise, should look that up soon because I am curious.

I am still suprised with how much of a drop there was between the first and second episode. Such a huge difference.

I suppose people don't worry too much about watching the show live because there are other ways of watching it later.

I hope it's ok to double post. My last post was yesterday.

This might give the next episode of Intelligence a better chance of higher ratings.

The new episode of Castle, "Dressed to Kill" which was originally scheduled to air on Monday, January 27 has been pushed back a week to Monday, February 3. A repeat episode of Castle , ('Number One Fan") will now air on Monday, January 27.

Both shows are produced by ABC Studios so maybe they're trying to give Intelligence a bit of a break.
