I have to wait for next week but the line about Elena gave me a bitter aftertaste. I guess you could interprete it in 100 different ways so I will wait until next week for my final opinion on that.

Hope we get a good promo for the final.

Initially it gave me a bitter taste, but after I watched it...I don't feel the same way. Could it have been left out? Yes. However, I didn't take it the way some did. The interpretation of that line is all over the place. Lol!

If you notice, Damon tacked on that last line. There was no flow. It was like an afterthought. It was like Damon thought his words and his high opinion of Bonnie wasn't enough. He needed to throw in Elena cause he still thinks that's the magic word with Bonnie. He still has no idea how much Bonnie cares for him and values him above even Elena.

Same here, I thought it actually made sense.:eek:
Because if we see in the hallucinations. Bonnie happiness was when she thought she saw Elena in the room and everything they talked about to get Bonnie upset was Elena so for Damon to mention he loved her as much as Elena loved her made sense.

Yup...THAT is one thing I don't blame the writers for including. However, they are trying my patience with this storyline.

After those tweets I saw from JP I think we can assume there will be no romantic stuff for some time and for sure not in the finale.

I guess it is more of the acting than the writing or JP is really playing with the fans of the ship. Who knows.

I guess Kat thought the fans would be over the moon excited to see Huntress Bonnie, but eh....while I enjoyed it, my excitement at Dark Bonnie disappeared around Season 5. I've hung on for one reason and now that a clock has been set for the end...I'm not interested in any more trolling.

And why are we STILL dealing with a character who is locked in a coffin played by an actress who chose to leave? I have never witnessed anything like this on a show.

Take the example of SH,they cut the ties in the finale with the female lead.(btw I hated it,Abbie was just too good of a character for that tv show anyways).But with TVD nope,they choose to keep mentioning and revolve around Elena,like she's some sort of deity. :pout:

When Nina left I remember in an interview Julie was talking about how there was no way they would get rid of Elena and how it didnt feel right, and with all those other interviews about getting Nina to show up at the end of the series yeah I knew that the show would never stop being about Elena somehow and the sleeping curse cemented that, so I am not surprised. With Bamon again not surprised, I never expected romantic Bamon and now the recent twitter replies just confirms a few things, I do think some Bamon scenes are ambiguous and they know this yet when fans read too much into it they act confused.

They trolled, they gambled and I don't know why Julie thought that fans wouldn't be mad after the way a couple of the scenes were played. Oh well, TVD will be rewarded with the consistent low ratings.

Just heard abotu all these TVD writers leaving the show. CD, Brian Young, Rebecca Sonnenshine - I'm wondering who's going to be JP's right hand for S8.

She said they hired 2 new writers for season 8. I wonder how different that season will be. I also wonder if one of the actors will become a producer or get a writing credit.
