I agree that was a creepy attack on Bonnie and thank God she was mostly prepared for it and had backup to help :eek: Kai is going to freak out when he learns about the attack. He could barely keep his emotions in check when the girls were talking with Noah and when the Waiter was trying to flirt with Bonnie. Speaking of Noah, even Bonnie thinks something's not quite right about him. When Joshua Parker mentioned alliances, I'm wondering if he'll try and force Kai to align with the Vansel family by marrying Fiona? It was mentioned early on that the Vansel's are closest allies to Joshua...I know that Kai won't go for it, but it might not be that easy to get out of as Coven Heir.

The Second was updated. This chapter was incredibly creepy! But we finally got some Bonnie and Kai interaction. I love Kai helping Bonnie solve that riddle. It's a callback to how he finished her crossword puzzle in 1994.

Thanks for the info, I read it! Of course Kai would freak out about Bonnie being attacked and her blood being taken. Lol and Kai thinking about the possibility that Bonnie could have been hexed while Bonnie totally forgot about that. He is so smart.

Kat OMG first Fiona then Alanis! Poor Kai! I got so many BonKai feels though when Kai fed Bonnie the sandwich, pulled her into his lap, and the way he was concerned when he learned their other selves were so destructive to each other in those other worlds! Kai will destroy the person(s) who attacked Bonnie when he finds out their identity Gemini Coven be damned!

I just can't wait for the new update!! I need them to find the person who is responsible for the attack right now.

Bonnie is going to make me wanna insert myself into this story and strangle her though! Ugh! I think Kai's breakfast comment upset her though, since he's not used to being with a woman he truly cares about. The feelings Kai has for Bonnie are growing stronger by the minute and I don't think he understood how crass his comment about breakfast sounded to Bonnie. I know he's persistent and he's not going to let her go, not after what they just shared!

OK, can someone explain the breakfast comment to me? Because I didn't get it? I didn't think it sounded sleazy or like a line. I mean, she already saw him in the closet with two other women? Why would he wanting to make breakfast for her be the deal-breaker?

The comment unintentionally ruined the moment from Bonnie's perspective because it made Kai seem as if he were bragging about his previous conquests. Kai said "I'm told I make a mean breakfast" and Bonnie thinks who would tell him that but women he's bedded then made breakfast for afterwards. Kai has been smug about his ability to attract the ladies into closet conquests at these functions. Bonnie probably is thinking he sees her as yet another conquest. He's going to need to show her she's different from the others. Bonnie is very stubborn too so that's gonna be challenging but at least Kai is a patient man. He's gonna need it!
