We currently have two open moderator position on this message board. If you'd like to apply for this position, please go to the Moderator Application Process - How to Apply & Questions Answered thread and follow the instructions to apply to be a moderator on this board. Please note that the deadline to get applications in is 12:00 PM GMT on October 9th. If you don't receive a confirmation Private Message within 24 hours after you have emailed your application, please send a Private Message to stockholm syndrome.

Please don't use this thread as a “campaign thread” for someone you think should get the position, because we want everyone that's interested in the position to apply.

We've decided to extend the application deadline for the two open moderator positions on this message board. The new application deadline date is now 12:00 PM GMT on September 25th, and we've updated the first post on this thread to reflect this new date. If you're still interested in applying to moderate this message board, please follow the instructions in the first post on this thread. If you've already applied, your application is on file and you are still being considered for the position.

Please note the following: If no qualified candidates apply to moderate this board, it will be closed. Every board here needs permanent moderators, and we can't have Moderator Support Team Members moderating any board indefinitely. Therefore, if no qualified candidates apply to moderate this board by the new application deadline date, a closure notice will be posted on the board the Sunday following the application deadline date, and the board will be closed one week from when the closure notice is posted.

If the people that post on this board want it to remain here, then someone needs to step up and apply to moderate it. Thank you.

I think this is a cool board with a lot of good discussion possibilities, and I think someone should apply to moderate it.

I stepped down, because I feel like the board needs new energy. I'd held the position for nearly two years. I didn't mind posting everyday. I would have done it whether I moderated or not. But there's so much untapped potential here. I thought maybe someone else could bring it to life.

It's a great board to moderate. There is nothing taxing or difficult about the responsibilities.

If no one else besides the previous moderators like the board, though, then perhaps it is time to move on.

Is that true? Does no one else like the Switched at Birth board?

If some is thinking to apply, then you should do it. Being a mod is fun and my first impression from this board is that everyone is very nice and helpful.

I love this board, why would it be time to move on? I thought you did a great job with mod Amy and Alyssa, Not even sure why you guys randomly dropped it. I'd apply but I'm back in school and if its a time consuming job, I won't be able to do it.
