That IS a good Emmett moment.

I also love when he says to Daphne, "Brooklyn Decker, the Sports Illustrated Model? Well, obviously, first she'd want to make passionate love to me, many, many times. But after that, it'd never work. She wouldn't understand my culture, my family, my perspective on the world. And that's everything."

There were so many great Emmett moments in Season 1.

I like him telling Daphne her taste in guys has gone from bad to worse and then when she explains her and Wilke are "not like that," he says "You missed a button."

I don't know why I find that amusing, but I did.

I'm glad Emmett is getting out and going to screenings, but he misses Bay. And she misses him.

Glad we'll get to see him next week.

Now that he's there I want him to find his place and succeed on his own. But I also want him home with bay. :/

Is he going to be the Lucas of SAB? Lucas left Tree Hill and became a successful writer, etc. Seems like they're minimizing Emmett's role on the show .

I think he'll come back because of Bay. I have a feeling that he will have been highly successful out there, and now, this will be another thing that the writers give Bay to feel guilty about. But she shouldn't. Bay is more important to Emmett than a career.

That's just a guess though. If he comes back because he fails, then that's too convenient to me. There's no conflict in that. The writers always seem to go for the conflict, and Emmett giving up a successful start in Hollywood is rife with conflict.

I keep tweeting LW that I want Bay to meet Emmett's baby brother. I think I have tweeted her that FIVE times now.

Yes there is more conflict if he leaves it behind for bay. Bay would feel guilty about it.

She would, but I don't think Emmett would resent her for it or anything. Not in the least.

To be honest, I'd love for the series finale to have them going to California together. Mainly because I want Bay to get the hell away from everyone other than Emmett and Toby. Oops.
