I'm scared for Bay in this episode and excited to see what Daphne is going to do.

Really want Daphne to try NOT to meddle in something that will only get her into trouble ... or danger. Really, does the girl EVER learn? :rolleyes:

I thought it interesting that Bay was asking Emmett's opinion on her mother throwing her father out for a kiss with another woman ... and Emmett explaining that his parents' marriage ended over similar incidents. Bay broke up with Emmett because he cheated, but she doesn't understand why her mother wouldn't tolerate the same from her father. Hmmm. Glad that Emmett answered her honestly, but it seems to be adding salt to a wound if Bay wants her mother to forgive her father for a kiss with another woman, but sticks to her guns for dumping a boyfriend who cheated. True, Kathryn/John have 20+ years instead of a high school relationship with months on it ... but the point is the same. Interesting paradox there.

like i still don't get it. in the end, what are they trying to say/accomplish with all this cheating stuff?

Mary Beth is getting a much warmer reception from Melody than Bay did.

Melody has come a long way, I think. She's more open to hearing/Deaf relationships. I think she and Gabe really clicked. I like how she has really taken Travis under her wing and is trying to encourage him the way poor Travis's mom never would. Problem is that Travis is throwing away his opportunities by not even going to the interview :(.

I wish we could've seen more of Melody.

Can you imagine how different things could have been if Bay had gotten that reception? She would have felt as though she belonged.

Oh, well, I am glad that Melody has shown growth.
