So, fairies are immortal, right? Blue's been around for centuries and so has the Black Fairy, if she's Rumple's mother.
So, how did an aging potion make one look older? Isn't that like trying to hit fast forward on a painting? |

Didn't Rumple kill the Black Fairy and steal her wand. Could the Black Fairy be the person under the cloak? |

Seriously?
Unless it was the Black Fairy disguised as Blue taking Rumple's child away to trade him for her wand or some other form of power she wanted, I don't really see what was the point of bringing her into the story. If she was there to explain why Rumple hates fairies, - well, I was quite happy with the explanation we have lived with thus far: he hated Blue and her followers because Blue gave the bean to Bae (and she really should not have done that!).
And Belle! Really? Unless you have some proof that your child is a clairvoyant - even in fetal state - why are you listening to him so uncritically? Are you sure your baby isn't just projecting your resentments and fears in his dreams? If it even is him dreaming so early in his development and all your dreams haven't been a trick by someone (again: if the Black Fairy isn't neck deep in this, why did we meet her?) Anyway, that's my two cents. Not totally happy with the way things have developed. Still watching though |

Okay so I'm starting to really to enjoy this season, it took until about episode 5 for me to to really get into it, but it's really getting into it's stride now. I really enjoyed this episode, and I'm starting to see the underlying intrigue coming into it.
My thoughts on this episode: Loved the scene with the EQ/Zelena/Regina, I have a theory about where this is leading, looking forward to seeing more, but no spoilers here! Aladdin what are are you doing? This is bad move (at least in the short term). Nice to see lots of CS, it seems to be rare to have good moments with these two so far, I wasn't massively happy with episode 3 or 5, so I loved the fact they are finally working together again. Not a good episode for Rumbellers but a lot of Rumbelle in it, but there is hope there I think. I totally knew it was the EQ who brought on the pregnancy. It had to be done, though or Belle would have pregnant forever in show terms, I doubt any pregnancy on this show will last long from now on. Rumple's Mother was a fairy? That totally blew my previous theory right out of the water. Poor Rumple, even his mother abandonned him for power, no wonder he fails in that way himself so much. I thought the Golden Queen was over, glad I was right. Really excited for next week, roll on midnight Tuesday night! __________________

Good episode. The Black Fairy storyline has been done well.

Oh dear sweet poor innocent Belle. When Rumple was almost going to use that potion on her to speed up her pregnancy I couldn't believe he would go that far. But she did say he would lose her forever for that price, and so he didn't. But then the EQ decided to step in because of course she would. But Belle of course believes it was Rumple, and decides to give her son to Blue and take him as far away as possible. Which was absolutely heartbreaking. When Rumple said he would never hurt Belle I thought, what a hypocrite! Ok, so he didn't use the potion on her and it was the EQ, but what about all the other times? They may not have been quite so awful things, but still.
The EF story with Belle and Rumple was interesting. So the black Fairy is Rumple's mother? Ok, more on that please! I loved how Regina took out her heart and threatened to crush it to stop the EQ killing Zelena. That was awesome. At first I thought the two were going to reconcile as Regina heals her and Zelena was about to apologise but then Regina admits she cannot forgive Zelena and blames her for Robin's death. Which was another heartbreaking moment, but completely understandable. Emma and her visions are back. I hope she and Killian find out more about the sword. No David. Very little Snow. But I liked that Jasmine and Aladdin finally have the lamp, and how Aladdin put the Genie bracelets on. __________________

He could have destroyed the potion, rather than simply chose not to use it. Would have solved the whole problem.

Well, I maybe went a bit too far calling Rumple a hypocrite. I know he wouldn't exactly hurt Belle intentionally, but the threats he made were still hurtful. __________________
