I'm a little confused by what something Cruella had said to Maleficent in "Sympathy For the De Vil".

At the beginning of the episode, Cruella told Maleficent that she and Ursula had used drops of Lily's blood to prevent from aging in "the Land Without Magic", before leaving the infant to die in the woods. They did this, because Lily is part dragon.

But how was that possible? We all know that only magical objects can be effective in our world. But Lily (and her blood) is not a magical object. She is flesh and blood. This is why she was never able to transform into a dragon during the thirty years she was apart from her mother. There is no way that Cruella and Ursula can use someone's magical blood to stay young. Surely Horowitz and Kitsis realized this?

She didn't mention Lily's blood ...

But an egg is not an object. It came from Maleficent's body. And since it's still biological, it shouldn't have magic in the land without magic.

I disagree.
