The one thing I can say is honestly I'll only like the Henry, Lucy, Jacinda, and Roni moments. The rest I don't really care much about.

Was never a fan of Rumple or Hook and really not a fan of Alice in Wonderland.

Just finished watching.

It was a really good premiere. It's the same show, but with a real fresh feel to it. I'm interesting how Henry said there was a cemetery in the town, and now there is not? What's up with that? And whose grave was he going to bring flowers to?
I think it was a nod to the clock tower that started ticking after Emma came to town. Is this setting Henry up to be this season's savior?

^ Or this is the first time Henry's actually tried to visit his wife and daughter's graves, which is the feeling I got.

It was okay, will take some getting used to. I can also push past the recycled plot line, but how long for I don't know. I love that Rumple is Killian's new detective partner. It will be great to see them working together. I'd love to know why Killian looked at the book knowingly at first, then in the end sequence looked evil? I'm excited to see what's happened there. Roni was a good introduction, not the best. I rolled my eyes a few times, especially in her unnecessary long speech at the end, as i got the list of what she was saying after 1 minute, didn't need the other 5. The new characters are interesting, I especially love Adelaide! I hate this accent she's putting on though.

^ I'm pretty sure Adelaide is just using her natural voice in this show.

OK, so first thing's first - so happy that Netflix UK has put out S7 so soon after the premiere date in the US, which was today. Secondly, I didn't know quite what to expect with this first episode of a new era for OUAT. I knew it was going to be different, with new characters and a new setting, but I did my usual best of staying away from any crucial spoilers. While watching the episode, I sort of wished I had looked up more about it because parts of it majorly confused me. I'm also in two minds over the re-hashed storyline from S1. On the one hand, it felt great, and parts of it definitely felt very reminiscent of the S1 magic. However, because of this, some of it also felt kind of predictable. But I did like some of the twists, although I should have really been expecting them because twists in the tale is what OUAT does best. Like Cinderella wanting to kill the Prince. I am confused with this whole thing about there being other "Snow White's" and other Cinderella's that Henry told Regina that he wanted to discover before leaving Storybrooke. Because OUAT already had a Cinderella and to incorporate a different Cinderella is confusing because she looked like she lived in a realm exactly like the EF, what's really the difference? I can see what they are trying to do here though. Disney and other production companies have all produced many different versions and tales of Cinderella so I suppose OUAT is trying to do the same thing. It's just, part of me wished that they would have chosen a different fairy tale character than another Cinderella to be Henry's true love. Just something new.

It's also so weird to see Henry all grown up and being played by someone else, but he does a great job and does look just like him! I also liked how he lived for a time like his granddad, even dressing the same...he must have learnt a lot from Chraming!

As for the curse, this is where the major confusion sets in, which I suppose will be explained in due course, but at the moment I have many questions. So I'm guessing that Lady Tremaine, or whoever Cinderella's stepmother is in this story, was the one who cast the curse and sent everyone to live in Seattle with false memories, but unlike Regina, she really did send them to the real world rather than create a fictional town placed upon the real world. But what I can't understand at the moment, is how Regina, Rumple and Hook also got caught in this curse. I have a few theories though. One is that Regina heard that Henry may have been in trouble and went to find him...I suppose bringing Rumple and Hook with her...

Oh, I'm just remembering the flashback episode in the S6 finale, I had almost forgotten about that... I think I need to re-watch those scenes. Need to re-think some things.

Anyways. I loved that Hook ends up as a police officer (then promoted to detective), very fitting since he and Emma were sheriffs together in Storybrooke. When he looked through Lucy's book, he stopped on the page with Emma, it looked like he was trying to remember his other life...god I just hope this curse doesn't last a whole season before it's broken like the first one. And the reveal of Rumple being his new detective partner. I should have guessed!

Regina is now Roni and a bartender. Different. But she still had the same sass when she stood up to Cinderella's stepmother.

Alice was totally creepy.

....I miss Emma, Snow, David, Belle and the others so much. But this episode definitely had my attention. It's just going to take a while to get used to. I'll keep watching!

The Season 7 premiere wasn't perfect, but I found it enjoyable enough for me to resume watching the show. The past two years have been a chore, as far as this show is concerned. I think it needed a breath of fresh air.

Okay, I forgot the show is now on Friday so the next episode's discussion needs to post.

Unsticking this one now.

Just watched this eppy tonight, as I am not quite caught up. I plan to revel in this last season if at all possible. Been avoiding as many spoilers as I can and I'm hoping its good.

So far I think this is a good move. I really liked the wishing well tie-in to Storybrooke. I think it is going to function like the clock tower; we saw the seeds Lucy sowed beginning to sprout magically fast. The first view of Rumple/Weaver he's holding someone's head underwater in a barrel. Got a kick out of that. Henry obviously learned his sword fighting skills from David and Hook very well. That was nice.

I would have preferred that they had chosen a different story than Cinderella but it worked. The chemistry with the characters was good. Ronnie's speech was way too long, but I was glad she stood up to the stepmom.
