I just don't get where his anger is coming from. He looked ticked off at both of them.

He has no reason to be mad at Belle because she did everything he told her to do or manipulated her in to doing. And Rumple hasn't really done anything to him.

I would assume the Black Fairy has poisoned his mind against them and that she is using him as a weapon to destroy the "light" for whatever reason. She probably knew that the True Love child of the Dark One would be very powerful.

Well, I guess Gideon doesn't know that Rumple didn't speed up the pregnancy so there's that. But that doesn't explain why he was so hostile towards his father in the Dream World when he hadn't really done anything and was only trying to help. Yes, what Rumple did may have been a trick, but so was what Gideon did.. And in any case he was just trying to save his family (as the saying goes, "The end justifies the means").

So yeah, the only reasonable explanation that I can come up with is that Gideon has been manipulating Belle from the start so that she'd keep Rumple at arm's length, so that he couldn't ruin Gideon and/or the Black Fairy's plans.

And even if being kidnapped by the Black Fairy wasn't part of Gideon's plan, that's not his parents' fault. They didn't know the BF was lurking around and, as you said Belleislove, Belle only did what Gideon wanted her to do.

And yes, we do need a scene of Gideon learning to knock the door before entering his parents' room.
