"Fruit of the Poisonous Tree" - Episode Discussion {1.11} AIRING 8/7c, Sunday, Jan 29, ON ABC  Sidney asks Emma to help him expose the corruption that Mayor Regina has unleashed on Storybrooke, and King Leopold must be careful what he wishes for when he is granted three wishes by a genie, on ABC's "Once Upon A Time." Richard Schiff ("The West Wing") Guest Stars as King Leopold "Fruit of the Poisonous Tree" - A dejected Sidney enlists the aid of Emma to help uncover evidence that could expose Mayor Regina as the corrupt person she really is to the townspeople of Storybrooke; and Mary Margaret and David continue their secret rendezvous while trying to figure out a way to unleash their unrequited love. Meanwhile, back in the fairytale land that was, King Leopold (Richard Schiff), who is the father of Snow White and married to the Evil Queen, stumbles upon a magic lamp and is granted three wishes by a Genie - who warns the king to be careful what he wishes for -- on "Once Upon a Time," SUNDAY, JANUARY 29 (8:00-9:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network. "Once Upon a Time" stars Ginnifer Goodwin as Snow White/Mary Margaret, Jennifer Morrison as Emma Swan, Robert Carlyle as Rumplestiltskin/Mr. Gold, Lana Parrilla as Evil Queen/Regina, Jared Gilmore as Henry Mills, Josh Dallas as Prince Charming/David and Raphael Sbarge as Jiminy Cricket/Archie Hopper. Guest starring are Tony Perez as valet, Giancarlo Esposito as Sidney/Magic Mirror, Eion Bailey as stranger, Richard Schiff as King Leopold and David Bloom as Mr. K. Maybe she cost him his job? I mean, he really loved working at the newspaper so if she did something to cost him his job, I could see him really worked up about it. Or she could have humiliated him in front of his peers.

 Something must happen to inititate it. Unless, Sidney is coming around to the good side and just wants to take a stand.   Is it just me, or does the EQ look kind of sad in that promo pic?!__________________

I think I will feel sorry for her, but I also know that nothing Snow (or father) did/said is cause for her to unleash a curse that basically strips everyone away from home. |

I have a feeling the anger might be misplaced, whatever she lost might be do to something/someone else, but how she connects Snow and her father into it we'll have to see. I do have full confidence in Snow at this point not to have done anything intentionally but I'm going to have to hold my vote out for her father at this point since I don't know anything about him yet. __________________

Maybe he said something about Snow and her mother, inadvertently hurting EQ.
 Whatever he did, it was enough for her to kill him. I wonder how she did it. Poison? I hope we get to see her making that decision. |
