The Snowing/CaptainSwan parallels keep adding up. If they're NOT doing it on purpose, then there's some serious subconscious work going on in the writers' room at OUaT! ;)

I never noticed all those parallels before. I think it's interesting that while the situations/set ups are similar on the surface the tone is completely different. There's an underlying tension and darker edge to Hook/Emma that is missing from Snow/Charming. The latter is like a cute meet and greet from a romcom and H&E are more sexual. Probably cause of Hook lol. And individually both H&E are darker characters than Snowing.

Definitely. Both pairings are very different but how Snow and Charming reacted to each other when they first met is similar to how Emma and Hook react to each other now. Both Charming and Hook admired Snow/Emma's toughness. Snow and Emma were both hesitant towards Charming/Hook. Both pairings play a back and forth game with each other. They constantly keep their partners in check. They're both equals.

I see a lot of similarities between early Snowing and Captain Swan. I'm just trying to figure out if the writers are doing this on purpose.

I never noticed the similarities between early Snowing and Captain Swan either. Probably because my initial thought is that Snowing is very sweet while Captain Swan is made up of 2 very damaged people.

I'm sure that the writers are trying to create some type of relationship between the two. I can only hope that it'll be something sincere and not just some flash in the pan.

I'll be bummed if this relationship doesn't last but more importantly I want it to mean something. It better not be another plot device or worse to prop up some other character for Emma.

At the very least I want both to come out better people for whatever dance they do.

I got to admit it does make you wonder if it is intentional these parrallels. i like to believe it is, there is no way they would not have noticed it or give it thought esp as they are making Hook/Emma more then just an interaction IMO, its big thing parralling Snow/PC - the true love couple

I agree that i would be bummed if this Hook/Emma didnt mean anything, esp as i think its quite a big thing giving Emma - a love story..... and also playing side by side with her first love which i assumed is Neal

Emma is such a important character in terms of being the special one as we know..... so to me it would seem that she should get an epic love story, coz everyone in each fairytale always has that one or two big loves that mean something.... so Emma's has to be..... coz i cant see the writers giving Emma numerous love interests and they shouldnt.... even the fairytales didnt have that lol

I can't see it being a flash in the pan thing. The setup just spells long term story to me. I just don't think it guarantees a happy ending. But I think they've got the potential to be epic.

Oh, I miss Veronica Mars, but I digress. I agree with Logan's quote. It'll be painful, but I think it'll be worthwhile.... hopefully. We're still early into this so they could find a way to completely change it, but I feel like the set-up so far is that it will be epic.

I'm expecting that one day they will have a close friendship or something like that and when one of them (probably Hook) wants more, they will just have a big argument about their issues. About his wish for revange and giving everything else up for it and her problem with her distrust. :)
And after that they will have no other way but to overcome their problems and their walls parting them. And than we will have what we all are wishing for.

I don't know I just guess it could be like that. I just don't see them getting all lovy dovy over each other, asking shall we? or something like that. For that I guess they are both a bit to stubborn but to just give in and let go of their goals or their distrust (in Emma's case). :D

Well what could be his plan, if he really has one to get rid of Cora and join them? I'm still not so shure about it. I think it's going a bit to far, if someone even reaps a heart out and so on. He could have done something else. I somehow believe that he is just chosing the one who will really take him along and right now there is no reason for Emma and Snow to do so.
And I'm quiet shure that the women will find out about the heart when they get imprisoned because they need an explanation for them showing up at these cell and Aurora is the only connection between the two parties right now.

And I'm so looking forward to a sneak peek showing them fight :D What kind of conversation they could have.... If they have one, what might be pretty shure. :D

I don't think Emma is going to be too fazed by Aurora's statement that Hook cares for her when it actually comes down to the fight. If anything, I'm thinking that she is going to be more angry with him for trying to play her. I'm hoping that there is some type of twist that I don't see coming that will just blow me away.

Exactly, I think she may have been confused at first but once Hook and Cora lock them up, she'll just be angry. But it all seems so set straight on a show that loves its twists and turns. The show wouldn't have Hook relay his own message to Emma through Aurora, and then have Aurora not mention it and instead give Emma Cora's message, for nothing. I have a feeling that's going to mean something. Or I could be completely wrong (I tend to be :P).

Killian only sides with himself but I think if he had to choose, the safer bet is with Emma rather than with Cora.

If you look at it like that, it could be possible that him saying he wouldn't like to be doublecrossed could mean, he would take revange and the twist in it could be, that he would use his revange on Emma has him making Cora shure that he was siding her but in the end teaming up with Emma (or at least traying it) ;)
