• Some of my favourite childhood memories involved my grandfather reading me fairy tales. I love that Once Upon a Time has allowed me to relive these favourites and experience them in a new way. This show infuses a little bit of magic into a world that is sometimes sorely lacking in it. I’m grateful to have found a community that allows me to discuss my favourite parts of the show and I am glad that I finally decided to join after many months of lurking. • I started officially watching Once Upon a Time on September 30th, 2012 at the start of season 2. Before the episode ABC had a 1-hour recap and I watched that. During season 1 I would watch sporadically, not full episodes just clips while channel surfing and heard from online sources that it was a good show. Well after the recap I saw I was hooked and decided to give it a go. I am so glad I did. What drew to it was the character development particularly of Emma Swan and Mary Margaret. These characters were well written and despite the fantasy that surrounded them there was still a human aspect that was relatable. The fantasy is great too. It really has brought me back to my childhood when I had a love for these fairytales. I love seeing live action versions of them. They even managed to make Dr. Frankenstein less scary and he used to terrify me. I am proud to call myself a Oncer. It feels like I've been watching since season 1 started so it's crazy knowing I haven't. ~ {Ron_Cullen}
  
• Wow, we finally made it to 300K! That's such an amazing accomplishment. I remember being hooked to this show during all of S1 and I continue to enjoy the various background stories we get exploring the different characters. I have my favorite stories and not so favorite stories on the show but in the end, we are all Oncer's. I love the OUAT community and the fans I have found here to share what makes me enjoy the show.
