I heard Dr. Jekyll is going to meet Dr. Whale in this episode. I hope it goes like "so you created a monster too, huh?"

Best line of the night goes to Dr Whale: “That’s not food in my refrigerator”
Hook/Emma were adorable and I'm glad to see them taking "the next step" Grumpy needs more scenes; he was hilarious in Archie’s office! Here's to hoping for more dwarves scenes! HOW is asking David to bring a tape to Belle a big price for a desperate man to pay for a deal!!!!??? I’d do that for free! Fun epi, but I am really looking forward to next week and learning much more about Jekyl/Hyde! |

What happened to Anastasia aka the Red Queen/White Queen? Does this mean that Ashley aka Cinderella has three stepsisters, instead of two?
What does Cinderella's story have to do with the overall arc for this season? What is Season Six about again? __________________

I think it's best to think of Wonderland as a separate movie and not part of the ouat verse. The writers did say Anastasia wasent Ashley sister

Loved these, and expressed my thoughts as well. Whale surprised me, and love seeing David Anders again. Grumpy was great with incredibly impeccable comedic timing. Yep, the Jekyll/Hyde portions of the last season's finale was my favorite, and only made me wish for more! Very much looking forward to next week's episode. __________________

The way Jekyll looked at the refrigerator was hilarious.

While I though this episode was okay, there were some fairly obvious changes that could have made it truly great.
Firstly, the parallels between Regina/Daniel and Clarinda/Jacob were eerie. Other than winning Henry's love and some friends for herself, Regina's quest for redemption has never been more than self improvement. I wish Regina had helped Emma more and ultimately taken some comfort from seeing Clarinda/Jacob's story play out in a positive way. One of the reason people with painful pasts are drawn to helping others is an attempt to ensure that what happened to them doesn't happen to those in similar situations. When Regina split herself in two last season, she did so because she got no joy out of goodness and was constantly fighting her dark side which did give her some pleasure. This was a chance for the series to explore the healing that can come from goodness when it's used to prevent the same horror you experienced from being passed onto the next generation. Yes, Emma needed to be the hero and save Cinderella, Clarinda, and Jacob, for her own character development this season, but Regina should have been the sidekick that got to deal with Cinderella's stepmother, not Hook, who got no real development from his part in this particular rescue. If Regina has to learn or relearn to accept her own darkness, what better way than to learn how to deal with it in a proactive way by going back to the source of what really drove her evil. Another issue is Snow's desire to draft Frankenstein and Jekyll as science teachers. While her idea to update the school is awesome and long overdue, they've chosen their careers as practicing scientists. Whale is the town's best medical doctor and Jekyll shows no indication that he wants to teach. Snow moving on and appreciating our realm as more than a cage is long overdue, but feeling she can dictate who does what job misses one of the blessings of this realm, free will, not being beholden to a predestined story, the very thing all those people from the Land of Untold Stories sought and had found in the land of untold stories. |

That is not the story for Regina I have been seeing since Season Two. Quote:
Regina had to be the sidekick? __________________

I still can't believe Charming is allowing the Evil Queen to manipulate him so that he's reduced to going to Gold of all people. He should know better than to listen to or make deals with his family's enemies.
Emma was the only Sheriff actually doing her job in this episode, despite her own personal problems with her magic and vision of death. __________________
