Yay. Ruby Slippers Appreciation Thread (just like I suggested).
I have to say that I really like these two, and I love the nicknames they gave one another, although it looks weird to me seeing Dorothy's nickname for Ruby written out with an 'ie' instead of a 'y'. __________________

I think that this relationship was handled nicely. I especially like what Ruby and Dorothy's true love's kiss means for true love's kiss and true love in general. Both transcend gender and boundaries.
Overall, I think the story was very nice and the love story was treated with dignity and respect. From my point of view, nothing was sensationalized or over the top. True, I would have liked to see more development in their relationship before true love's kiss, but I also remember, that this is a show about fairytales and sometimes, love happens quickly. I even liked how Snow encouraged Red to go after Dorothy and give her true love's kiss. I've always sort of thought of Snow's view of true love as something black and white, but this episode proved me wrong about her. __________________
