I would watch some of 6A..........I mean, nevermind anything else, but that dream/dance sequence up until "Gideon/Morpheus" was perfect. I liked some of 6A, especially the last episode, though much of it was ugly. I also give a big thumbs down to 4A, mostly because Rumple seemed so thoughtless about Belle, was going to take her out of SB on a lie, etc... I would watch select moments of that arc, though, as I think it's important not to just watch what little fluff we got. IMO, Rumbelle proved they are ETERNAL love because of everything they've been through..... I wouldn't trade their story for anyone else's, and I believe that their trials and tribulations are what make their HEA all the sweeter

It did....... even Bobby said that Rumple went crazy. I think that was the point, actually - that Belle leaving him at the beginning sent him on a death spiral as it were; he was THISCLOSE to losing himself, destroying his soul - until he made the right choice not to use the sands on Belle (I agree with the theory that he wanted her to stop him, otherwise he would have just "done it").

I get what Adam and Eddy were doing in that they wanted Rumple to reach this point of no-return, when he would have to choose to do the right thing and continue to make the right choices. I approve of that, in a way, as the beginning of his final redemption arc. The only way I can explain/justify/accept Rumple treating Belle as he did was that he wasn't himself, that the Darkness had just about overwhelmed him........JUST about, not completely, or else she wouldn't have been able to reach him.

It just was NOT a fun arc to watch. Were I to watch Rumbelle's entire story again, I definitely would watch some of 6A - even the painful stuff - but I would avoid GQ entirely.

They BOTH were mean to each other, that's why I found 6A so hard to watch (I did like some parts and 6x10, though). In 4A they at least weren't at each other throats all the time, and I think Rumple's behavior was maybe a bit more understandable.

I agree completely that they were both cruel to each other, out of their pain....The problem with 4A was that Rumple was constantly lying to Belle, probably sneaking out of their house, and just otherwise hiding things. It’s a different kind of awful...IMO. I can understand Rumple’s behavior somewjat based in all he’d been through, but only to an extent as he clearly didn’t want Belle’s help.

Belle has been watching him....... and is so proud of him; he has justified all of her faith in him... If we assume she'll be back for a reunion, this could play out in so many ways. I keep imagining her coming for him.....but on the other hand, I love the idea of him finding her as she waits for him.

I'm also glad he's not alone, if for no other reason than Rumple misses Belle desperately - having to navigate EF2/HH with absolutely no one who cares about him at all would be so unkind....
