I loved this episode. Nick and Jess' morning after moment was adorable, Schmidt and Elizabeth were perfect, Winston was hilarious, Cece's face tattoo cracked me up, the breakfast on the roof scene was amazing as well.
The only thing that I really hated was Jessica's dad's reaction to her and Nick. She's a grown woman and thus it's really not his business to begin with. Outside of that, he's only met Nick, what? Twice? He has nothing to go by in his whole "I know him" argument because that's just it - he doesn't know Nick. Everyone has layers, and it's impossible to know them from the second you see someone. That's a fact. I get that he was trying to protect his daughter, but Nick isn't a bad guy and he shouldn't have said what he did about him. |

No, he shouldn't have said it but it's a very protective dad thing to just say no. They hear, guy who works in a bar and go NO. Heck, my brother won't let any of his friends anywhere near me
I love that Nick kissed Jess' shoulder in the morning |

great episode! Nick is just too adorable.
I'm don't know how to feel about Schmidt and Elizabeth. I, of course, am rooting for Schmidt and Cece...but Cece's fiance seems really sweet, too.... |

Oh Schmidt/Cece totally have to end up together but I think Elizabeth will help mend the parts of Schmidt that stopped him being perfect with Cece.

Although Nick and Jess have finally hooked up, I fear we still have a long way to go before a real relationship blossoms. Between Jess's dads meddling and Nick needing to figure himself out, I fear this will be a long road. I get what Jess's dad was trying to say, and in some ways he is right. Jess was more attracted to Nick when he was "trying", she wants him to want more for himself. The difference between Jess and Nick and her parents however is that, she does not have a preconceived idea of what will make Nick happy, or standards he has to reach, she just wants him to have some direction or a passion.
Schmidt and Elizabeth are awesome, she is so his match. As much as I liked Cece and Schmidt, they are so similar I do not know if they could actually help one another grow, and they both need to. I am really going to enjoy seeing them make complete asses of themselves. I do not think Cece will go through with the wedding, and if she does it will end up a disaster. Cece is feeling the baby pressure and is thinking with her womb, not her brain. I look forward to Winston and Daisy, I think they could be really cute together! She calls him on his bull**** and gets him to man up. |

At the start of the episode when Nick said "Stay right here, don't move" I always thought he was gonna freak out and not come back.
Maybe that's one of the moments when you realize that his personality has been growing. I still can't believe that Curtis Armstrong had a character in the episode. *_* I also kind of sense that Cece will not go through with the wedding. But I can't see any other possible reason for that than her emotions. I guess, someone, probably Jess, will get Cece to realize something.. Last edited by v2k; 05-15-2013 at 12:52 AM |
