Wish we could learn more about Coach and Winnie's past too. As I understand they were friends from college and they were both playing basketball, so Nick knows Coach because of Winnie.

I agree. I would like to know more too. Coach and Winnie, Nick and Schmidt, college friends and Nick Winnie childhood friends. So NW brought them all together.
