IT’S A FAMILY REUNION ON AN ALL-NEW “NEW GIRL” TUESDAY, MARCH 22, ON FOX

Peter Gallagher (“The O.C.”) and Nasim Pedrad (“SCREAM QUEENS”) Guest star!

After Cece receives an exciting new job offer, Jess agrees to help Schmidt with the wedding preparations, but things don’t go as planned when Schmidt’s dad, Gavin (guest star Peter Gallagher), appears. Meanwhile, Winston and Nick get into a competition over whose job is harder. Don’t miss the family reunion in the all-new “D-Day” episode of NEW GIRL airing Tuesday, March 22 (8:00-8:30 PM ET/PT) on FOX. (NG-512) (TV-14 D, L, V)

I always enjoy those. The episode does look really funny. I can't wait to watch it.

I love when Cece is there for Schmidt! She was great. Hand holding and all. The awkward pauses were on point as well. Plus we got more Ally!

Hey guys! Hope you liked the episode! I loved it! It was kinda slow paced but I loved it. Those awkward silences

I loved finally having a Schmidt centered episode! I loved finally meeting Schmidt's dad.

Finally we have seen Schmidt as a full groomzilla. Poor baby was so tired

I loved his color coding

Kat I absolutely loved Cece being there for Schmidt too

I am so happy to finally see Peter!!! He is soooooooooooooo charmiiinnggggggggggggggggg

So many feels

I hope this means we will see him at the wedding too!

Sidenote: Lately I also think Cece might be pregnant because Hannah gained weight a little imo and she wears larger outfits

ALSO we finally have a date for the wedding! May 7th!!!

I really enjoyed the episode

It was great finally getting to see Schmidt's dad, Peter did an amazing job as Gavin. I really liked the scene where Schmidt came out of his room and they talked. I'm glad he invited his dad to the wedding. I'm sure he would've regretted it if he didn't at least invite him.

Nick riding along with Winston and Aly was funny

I liked that Aly made Winston realize that Nick just wanted some recognition for how much he's grown.

I definitely thought that and it would make so much sense! But then when Gavin saw his name on the invitations Jess said, "7 billion people there might be overlaps", so I thought it might be something different

Well still it can be. Maybe it's Eli, maybe it's a Jewish girl name like Abby or Abra (Mother of many)

From Mama Schmidt's mouth move it seemed like his name starts with a vowel

I like being teased about it haha.

Well in his wedding day we will get it

In the fist drafts of the pilot his name was "Matthew". Maybe they kept it maybe they changed it. I love my Schmidty no matter what

Noticed that! I loveeeeeeeeeeeed it! Obvously she is no stranger to what he thinks and feels about papa Schmidt already. That's why her encouraging him to listen and talk to him made so much sense. But it was really not Jess' place imo.
