JK. It's almost noon in excessively sunny So. Cal (yesterday we hit 95 Fahrenheit), so I'm drinking decaf and looking forward to a rewatch of my all-time favorite love scene tonight.

But I really can't wait for the mutual ILYs. No matter how they do them, I think I'll turn into a puddle of mush from the moment I see Wade's face when she says hers.

Oh, I know how appealing WB and Wade is, but you can't compare the feelings I had, because, as I guy, I have a connection to Wade that girls just can't have. I can't put myself in your shoes as to how you felt about the break up, but it wasn't the same feelings that I had.

Care to elaborate? Because I'd welcome any contribution (outside of my own refusal to believe that the writers were no longer compos mentis) that makes Wade's behavior anything other than completely OOC.

I have absolutely no doubt that WB has the ability to cry on command (and without the eye drops that are commonly used in T.V. and movies today to give that effect).

My only doubts about Wade crying when Zoe tells him that his ILY is returned revolve around Hollywood's inability to move beyond U.S.ian norms about how straight men behave. (IOW, I highly doubt that we'll get to see Wade cry, but I have no doubts that WB will not only knock that scene out of the park, but he'll have us all weeping for months.
