Yeah, that is what I liked about the scene in the 8th gif in that set. They were hanging out in the bed, but they weren't making out. They were just teasing each other about stuff....

Great gif set. I liked that episode actually because even though they were both sooo deep in their heartbreak, we had a decent amount of banter. You could tell that Wade was somewhat in denial about his heartbreak too because he was acting as if nothing was wrong and he was back to his normal "Wade " self.

He definitely was regressing there, but I feel like he was mostly doing it around Zoe, & when he was around the other characters, we got to see him being more of the Wade he had grown to be. We saw how hard he fought to get the bar & how he really wanted to prove a point - but I don't think he would have shown that around Zoe at that time before, it's almost like he wanted her to see him as the guy she thought he was before they got together

That is why it meant so much to him when he got that positive feedback from her on the opening night of the bar. He was so afraid of failing in front of Zoe.

Zoe didn't need to see him be successful with the bar to know he'd changed. His job wasn't the issue.

But I think Wade needed that though. And then he learned after that there was more that he needed to work on to get Zoe back.
