1x08: The Homecoming & Coming Home
November 21st @ 9:00 p.m.

EPISODE DESCRIPTION:
Lavon notices that Zoe is feeling homesick and asks her to host his annual pre-game homecoming party to help her feel more connected to Bluebell. Zoe gladly accepts his offer and asks her New York friend Gigi for help. Zoe learns, however, that New York and Bluebell have very different ideas of what makes a good party. Meanwhile, George and Wade devise a plan to get revenge on their high school nemesis, Jimmy. When when Lemon learns of their scheme, she wants in on the action, too.

Exciting to hear that we'll get some more Wade/George interation in this episode I'm also a little curious to see Lemon around Wade...those are two people I wouldn't think would get along very well.

I'm cringing a little at the thought of another mis-attempt of Zoe's at connecting w/ the people of Bluebell...

Well Zoe's friends is awful. But I really loved seeing Wade, George and Lemon all together and learning about the three of them. They had me cracking up! I'm really enjoying the wade/george friendship too!

And the Wade/Zoe scene at the end was really sweet.

Well, besides the complete lack of real George/Zoe interaction, I really liked this episode. Very fun.

George and Wade planning the "prank" was hilarious. Even Lemon and Wade's exchanges were really funny. I can totally see them being the three musketeers and causing havoc back in high school. LOVE their friendship.

I LOVED getting a taste of the old reckless and rebellious Lemon. Lemon and Lavon are breaking my heart! Their scenes were definitely a highlight for me. So intense! I felt sorry for her. One day she'll understand that being a "grown up" doesn't require you to repress your true feelings and be miserable.

Zoe's friend, Gigi, was pretty funny, too. But...she was also AWFUL. I just can't believe she betrayed her friend by sleeping with Judsen! Not cool. Well...at least that kinda takes him out of the running as Zoe's love interest.

I really loved George and Wade so much. poor George... Icy Hot in his jock strap! but I enjoyed watching Wade and Lemon not get along great, and how he said she used to be fun... I ADORED when he picked her up and threw her over his shoulder and spun her around twice!

speaking of which, Wade seems to have a monopoly on throwing girls over his shoulder. just picked Zoe up and ran off with her during the medical emergency.

direct Friday Night Light reference, woot!

I do not see how a girl who was ever so set on being a heart surgeon was friends with that Gigi chick... at all. she didn't even remotely remind me of Zoe in the first episode.
