Yeah. It is. I have always liked his speech to Ruby in S2 about being mayor because Ruby had the assumption that he was only mayor because he was a former football player....

I liked that too, & I think it made him appreciate being mayor more after he could put into words how he felt about it, & after it was nearly taken away from him

Yeah, I think so too. Especially since it took him a little bit to tell Ruby why he was a good mayor. It definitely made him think about what exactly it was that he loved about being mayor of bluebell.

Yeah, I can agree with that. I really think he should have had more plots that involved him being mayor and involving the people of Bluebell rather than focus too much on his love life. Even though it still would have been good to have him with a love interest, I just think that because he was mayor of the town, it shouldn't have really been a huge focus with it being the only real plot he ended up having...

Yeah, I guess so. I think I am just really frustrated that they spent so much time on a love triangle plot with him when they pretty much knew endgame was going to be LL. There were so many more options they could have decided to do.

They do, and I think in HOD they had just too many of them. Honestly, the ZWG love triangle would have been enough.
