I wasn't fully convinced about the show after the pilot, but it was good enough to get me to stick around for the new few eps.

& then after episode 4, I knew I was definitely going to stick with the show!

Yeah, I agree. Usually give shows a couple episodes before I really made a determination whether or not the show is something id watch because the Pilot is sometimes just a foundation to show you what the show is going to be about.

Pilots can be info dumps sometimes. Which is why it is a good idea to wait til episode 3, 4, to call it.
