Yeah, I was happy that he at least sat on the bed behind her, and wasn't just standing around like everyone else, but I think what somewhat ruined it for me was Vivian sat in the same place, so I think that meaning was taken away.

Wow, you need to go back & rewatch 1x10 now! That's when Zoe & Lemon get competitive about the holiday pageant & Wade & George are off trying to get the perfect Christmas tree for Lemon! & we got an awesome Zoe/Wade moment at the end of it too
