No, I don't think the chicken decided when he had to get re-elected. He won by one vote. Did he win by the chicken the first time around, I forget if that was mentioned... ?

I think the chicken kept predicting it was gonna be Ruby, so when they thought it was gonna be a tie, they were all worried that the chicken would pick Ruby again, but then they got that one last vote in at the last minute & Lavon won

They were using the chicken to break the tie but then they got the last vote in and it wasn't needed.
