Yeah, he needed to allow her to have her independence. And I agree, he was dependent on her because we saw that she did a lot of the little things for him like cooking or cleaning...

Seems so. We barely had any interact with them before Lemon was out of the house.

Yeah, and we saw that before that Brick was very much focused more on Lemon than Magnolia imo.

Agree. Which didn't make sense since Lemon was an adult and getting married.

But she was very babied and spoiled in general because she didn't work.

So I think it made sense for her at the time. Lemon getting married pretty much meant that at the time instead of Brick taking care of her like he was doing, it would then be George.

Yeah, we got a lot more Brick/Magnolia in s2, which is another thing that I think was good for both of them
