Jezebel In Hell

You know me. I’m a little nuts.

Things finally looked like they were going back to normal.

Summer Roberts blew the whistle on Dean Hess and Taylor Townsend’s relationship which ruined the dean’s career and got Taylor kicked off of the social club. Marissa Cooper and Ryan Atwood were welcomed back to Harbor. Kirsten Cohen is off the juice and back with her family.

Then it all went crazy.

Julie Cooper shot herself in the temple, killing herself instantly. Almost immediately after the funeral, Theresa Sanchez came back to town in hopes that she and Little Ryan could spend the holidays (Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Chrismukah) with Ryan Sr. Trey Atwood moved back to Newport hoping that he had Marissa’s and his brother’s forgiveness.

Marissa, having no family, will be staying with Summer.
Theresa will start out living at the Mermaid Inn. It’s up to whoever plays the Cohens if she ends up staying with them and Ryan.
We’ll be starting this ASAP. That means that, even if we don’t have a full cast right away, we will be starting. People can join after this starts. I’ll catch them up on what happens. Rock on.

Awesome. We could cut Glen and Charlotte since this RP will revolve mostly around the consequences of Juju's suicide, Theresa bringing the baby to Newport to meet daddy, and Trey coming back. I think that's enough drama :tongue:

Okay, I said that we’d start ASAP and I meant it. I’m sure we’ll get a Seth and a Ryan sometime today or tonight. If not, I’ll take Seth and someone else can take Ryan. Right now, Seth and Ryan are just lurking around the Cohens’ place. Rock on.

Kirsten

Everything seemed so unreal. Kirsten still hadn’t accepted the fact that Julie was gone. It had been a rough year and the last thing everyone needed in their lives was more death. She kept thinking that maybe if she had offered to help with finances or something else Julie might have seen a light at the end of her dark and dismal tunnel. Maybe she wouldn’t have killed herself…

Kirsten was doing all that she could now. She offered to use their house for the wake. She organized this event all on her own. The drinks, the finger foods… It was all her doing. It made her incredibly sad, though, that hardly anyone had shown up. Julie’s so-called high-class friends hadn’t shown up for the event. They were more interested in upbeat social gatherings than remembering a true gem of a woman. All of them used to fawn over Julie, but that was when she was wealthy and alive.

Even though they hadn’t been the best of friends, Kirsten was truly upset over Julie’s death. The urge to down a glass of wine kept rearing its ugly head, but she resisted, reminding herself that drinking was not an option. Instead she sipped a glass of soda, mingling among the others at the wake.

Slowly, the crowd was thinning out. People were going home. Kirsten welcomed the solitude that came as her guests left. Soon, it was only her and those closest to Julie.

Marissa

Marissa had shed her share of tears and it showed in her appearance. Her nose was shiny and the color of a maraschino cherry. Her eyes were a bit puffy and red with dark circles underneath. This was a different look for someone who was always so perfectly made-up and put together, but she just couldn’t care. It was hard to think of anything but her mom.

She’d been kind to her mother in the recent past, but all she could think of were the times that she screamed at and insulted her mother. She had convinced herself that she was a terrible daughter and that she had helped push her mother over the edge.

As the crowd of mourners thinned out, Marissa made her way to the bathroom, desperately needing privacy. Once inside, she locked the door and slouched over on the toilet with the seat put down. She gasped for breath as she sobbed wildly, tears running down her face leaving little trails of mascara. She couldn’t let anybody see her like that. She didn’t want pity.

"Cohen, stop it." I said, watching him stuff his face with cocktail weinies. I sighed, looking around the room for Marissa. I spotted her go into the bathroom, and concern immediately covered my features. "I'll be right back.." I muttered, never taking my eyes off of the bathroom door. I walked over to the bathroom, knocking on the door. "Coop..?..." I asked, hearing muffled cries. "Come on, Coop. Open up." I said, my forehead crinkled together in concern.

I hated hearing people cry, especially when it was someone I cared about. Lately, all I had been doing was comforting people. Newport was one crazy ass place. I sighed when Marissa didn't open the door. "Coop, I know you're in there. Just open up...please?" I asked, getting upset.
