Name: Rodrik Bolton
Age: Twenty-Six
House: Bolton; sworn to House Stark
Theme Song: Last Man Standing by Beyond the Horizon
Personality: Methodical, Reticent, Cunning, Ambitious and Candid.
Three Life Facts:
- As fourth born child and third son born to the Lord of the Dreadfort, Rodrik had little hope of inheriting his father’s Lordship and was largely left to his own devices as a child. Undeterred by his father’s underwhelming expectations for him, Rodrik toiled away at his studies, trained day in and out in the practice yard, proving to be a more diligent student and skilled swordsman than his older brothers. Sensing a growing resentment amongst the two older boys, Lady Bolton arranged for Rodrik to foster with the Starks in Winterfell so that he might continue to develop his skills as well as help mend and move past old wounds and resentments between the two families.
- Being closest in age to the eldest Stark and heir to Winterfell, the two would go on to take their meals together, spar together in the castle courtyard, and receive lessons from the castle Maester at the same time. Naturally the two became close friends, Edrick being more a brother to Rodrik than either of his blood brothers had ever been. His loyalty had been almost exclusively with the eldest Stark son, the Lord of Winterfell having never regarded him as anything more than a ward under his roof and one requiring immense scrutiny. That Rodrik had been invited to stay on at Winterfell after he came of age to serve in its household guard was the sole influence of Edrick Stark as well. Few have felt the impact of his death more emphatically than Rodrik who grieved more for the surrogate brother he was raised with than the brother of his blood back at the Dreadfort.
- The Boltons have a somewhat sinister history due in large part to their practice of flaying the skin of their enemies. Rodrik’s mild disposition coupled with the fact that he was raised away from the Dreadfort by the Starks make for someone who is a little less intimidating and far more approachable than the rest of his household. Little things here and there might tip off certain people who are observant enough to the fact that Rodrik does indeed have a small proclivity for the occasional bit of, erm … sensational retribution. Such as ordering the public flogging of a heretic, leaching his enemies, and yes, even the occasional flaying of skin when needed. Rodrik is quietly menacing in his own right, and no small man to trifle with if the latest death of his elder brother is to indicate anything. Although nothing was ever traced back to him, their resentment of one another was well known and the two were heard arguing several days before the heir to the Dreadfort mysteriously jumped from the window of a tower into the Weeping Water below.

Name: Damon Lannister
Age: Twenty-Six
House: Lannister
Theme Song: Broken Crown by Mumford & Sons
Personality: Affable, Impulsive, Wily, Prurient and Facetious
Three Life Facts:
- When he was still in his swaddling clothes Damon Lannister had been the delight of many a women, namely grandmothers, aunts, cousins and not least of all his doting and loving mother Lorene. Much the same can be said now, only now Damon counts the company of expensive whores and wicked tavern wenches amongst his most fervent of admirers due in large part to the genorosity with which he parts with his coin. As the resident black cub of the Lannister pride and current heir to Casterly Rock, Damon has spent the bulk of his youth gambling, philandering and drinking away the family fortune, proving to be a complete and utter disappointment to his father and the Lannister legacy. Fortunately there has never been a shortage of wine for which to drown his sorrows in.
- It is said that Damon could have amounted to a great deal of many things had he only applied himself more while growing up. His skill at sword and lance are adequate, he's reasonably knowledgable of economics and politics, and he has inherited a natural knack from military strategy from his father, but Damon was always distracted in his youth, finding more joy at the bottom of a wine glass and in the company of a pretty woman or ten than he ever did when trying to play the game of thrones. He's the sort that felt more comfortable slumming it with the common folk in the fair grounds of a tourney than riding for glory in the lists. It was at one such tourney in the Riverlands he met a beautiful pupeteer plying her trade for the amusement of a small group of onlookers. Damon never showed up to ride in the lists that day, too busy exploring the small confines of a certain pupeteer's box and a certain pupeteer's lady parts in said box. While the victor of the tourney planted The Queen of Love and Beauty's laurel in some blushing maid's lap, Damon Lannister planted a bastard in a common pupeteer girl's belly. Perhaps if he had contented himself to send her on her way with a purse full of coin instead of entertaining the notion of openly raising his bastard in the shadow of his father's castle, the two would still be alive today.
- Damon has always teetered precariouly on the grace of his father's good will, the threat of disinheritance perpetually hanging over his head. The thought has occured to him that he would actually be the happier for it and Damon has entertained the notion of boarding a ship for the Free Cities and abandoning his family name altogether on more than one occasion. In the end it is his misplaced desire to replace the love of his dead mother with the approval of his father that keeps him grounded in place. At present Damon seems poised to turn over a new leaf having embraced real responsibility for the first time in his life and in an ironic repitition of events, he has agreed to marry his brother's widow, a Tyrell just as his mother had been, as well as raise the child she's carrying as his own.

Gemmmmaaaaaaa.

Name: Alysanne Targaryen
Age: Twenty-Three
House: Targaryen
Theme Song: Apres Moi by Regina Spektor
Personality: Fickle, Proud, Steely, Attentive and fiercely Loyal (to a select few)
Three Life Facts:
- When the coin the gods are said to toss to herald the birth of a new Targaryen saw fit to finally land, it seems to have landed on its edge where Alysanne was concerned, dancing about like a spinning top as if undecided if her fate would be one of greatness or madness. With her gender denying her a place in future songs that are generally linked to the former, that left the latter a far greater likelihood but for the fact that her twin brother already beet her to the punch. Refusing to resign herself or her brother to the fates of whimsical gods, Alysanne refocused her energy on Aegon, lending him her unwavering support and guidance in helping him navigate the precarious line that exists between brilliance and insanity, determined to fend off any demons that plague him should his resolve begin to fail.
- Not easily pigeonholed into any singular stereotype, Alysanne’s interests, whims and habits are about as flippant as her moods. She is at times the picture of a lady, capable of creating exceptional needlework, a charismatic conversationalist and marginally proficient at the harpsichord as befitting a high born lady of her status. Other times she is hot-tempered, tempestuous and hard-headed, known to be as unforgivably sharp of tongue as she is of wit. And while she may possesses the trademark silver hair and violet eyes that suggest an almost otherworldly beauty in all Targaryens, hers is a harsh beauty. Even those closest to her have always found her stern and serious, preferring a game of cyvasse or an engaging discussion of philosophy and politics to the frivolities of gossip or dancing. Above all Alysanne is severe and stubborn in her judgment of people, her favor being a nearly impossible thing to regain once it has been lost.
- Over the years Alysanne has earned a bit of a dark reputation, colorful courtly gossip frequently suggesting everything from the princess bathing in the blood of virgins and having dabbled in dark sorceries to feeding the occasional Targaryen dissenter to her silver and gold dragon, Silverstorm. They are mostly unfounded but Alysanne lets them persist if only because the threat of becoming dragon fodder goes a long way in ensuring loyalty and order.

Name: Leliana Stark
Age: Eighteen
House: Stark
Theme Song: Breath of Life by Florence + The Machine
Personality: Amiable, Candid, Willful, Outspoken and Perceptive
Three Life Facts:
- When most little girls were playing with dolls and learning how to be courteous and docile, Leliana was playing with wooden swords with her brothers in the Godswood, determined not to be the proper Lady but instead to become a Knight. Her Lord father had other ideas, and a marriage was arranged for her to the Baratheon heir of Storm’s End when she was twelve. When the arrangement fell through, Leliana was secretly overjoyed, still naively believing she’d be free to pursue her Knightly fantasy. In time she would learn that the heir’s younger brother had been promised to her in his place. Eventually, Lord Stark would put an end to the secret parlays in the Godswood and Leliana, realizing the inevitability of her station, and not wanting to disappoint her family, relented to the efforts of her septa and wet nurse to turn her into the proper lady.
- Determined to temper her willfulness, Leliana was sent to attend Court in King’s Landing at the age of fifteen to brush elbows with other high born ladies and to put her in closer proximity to her intended. Three years later, and Leliana is no less homesick than she was when she first arrived, preferring the open air and the wood of the North to the stifling urban confinement of the capital. During her time in King’s Landing, she has become increasingly cynical of the game of thrones and disenchanted by the underhanded machinations of courtly politics. If she has become anxious to travel on to Storm's End and meet her fate, it is only to put as much distance between her and King's Landing and the white knight she despoiled -- coincidently the elder brother of her intended and Leliana's former betrothed -- as possible.
- Leliana is every bit a northerner, known as being a skilled horse rider, for valuing honesty over ambition and for worshiping the nameless deities of earth and tree known as the old gods of the first men. The old gods have also blessed Leliana with the gift of wolf dreams, letting her dream through the eyes of her direwolf when sleeping, though she is not yet so skilled that she can slip in and out of the skin of Bethany (so named for her beloved warrior aunt, Bethany Stark) at will. The direwolf is her most frequent and loyal companion and never far from her side.

New pic, thanks to Letty.

I'm changing her story. She's not an outlaw, she's sneaking into the wedding party as a servant girl. She was caught with a lord's daughter. We'll see what happens from there.

Name: Lady Gemma Stark
Age: Forty-Two
House: Stark (Born a Tyrell)
Personality: Fiery. Nurturing. Sharp. Caring. Long-winded.
Three Life Facts:
- Gemma fell in love with and had a unlikely romance with Silas Snow, but became betrothed. She and Torren were friends and had a hard start to their marriage as they both loved other people. In time they grew to love each other and have several children together. With the recent events of their eldest son going missing and presumed dead Gemma has not been connecting well with anyone, especially Torren.
-She is worried for her youngest son who seems so unprepared to be the Lord of Winterfell. In some ways she feels like he is very much a boy still. She wants to protect him from all of the hard things that could come his way. She knows that her daughter is in love with another man, and has to marry Merek Baratheon but she knows that sometimes that is the way it has to be. Gemma often prays that Leliana will come to at least have a understanding with her soon to be husband, if not more.
-Gemma has always been a good and caring mother, and now she fears she will loose all of her children, one way or another. Her normally happy mood has been turned towards the melancolny and worrisome lately.

Name: Kelin Stark
Age: Eighteen
House: Stark
Personality: Loyal. Honest. Intelligent. Romantic. Protective.
Three Life Facts:
- Twin brother of Leliana Stark, who he thinks the world of and is very protective of. He is very unhappy about her marriage. He has always been a big believer in trying to marry for love and he has seen what this match is doing to his twin sister. Although, he wasn't as close to Edrick as he is to Leliana, he feels his brothers loss everyday. Not only in the fact that now Kelin is expected to step up and be heir but also because he loves his family dearly. He has been off balance since the loss of his brother and he and his mother have grown closer in their shared grief, although some have whispered they are not helping each other but wallowing instead.
-Kelin has had one bethrothal fall through in the past and he hopes he will get to marry someone he cares for but that is seeming to be less and less likely as he is sure his family wants to make a match for him soon. Unlike most young lords who see prostutuitues when they feel they are men Kelin has tried to save that for the right woman. Of course his friends all believe he's been with someone.
- He has always been something of a homebody, chosing to stay home in Winterfell, loving his home and the North. He has a generally silent but odd bond with his direwolf, Hero who is named after his favored time in history, 'The Age of Heroes'. With a whistle, a snap or a touch he can communicate with Hero and Hero generally listens although sometimes they have a difference of opinion. A direwolf is not a pet, but if one were Hero would be as close as it would come. He is protective of all the starks much Kelin, himself and is a bit more easy going than a typical direwolf as he enjoys hunting outside as much as sleeping by the fire when allowed.

Name: Alissa Lannister/Tyrell
Age: Twenty- four
House: Born into house Tyrell, married into house Lannister. Her husband died, and she is soon to wed his brother.
Personality: Bookish. Loving. Guard. Truthful. Unsatisfiable.
Three Life Facts:

She knows the Lannister family will watch over her and her baby, but she is worried about her child. Malachi seemed 'off' before his death and she's worried about the same thing passing to her child.
- She feels like her friendship with Damon has suffered since their impending wedding was announced. She worries about him but doesn't want to make matters worse by sticking her nose in his business right now.
- Her situation has made her feel very disconnected from her family and friends. She has spent a lot of her time alone lately.

Name: Merek Baratheon
Age: Twenty
House: Baratheon
Personality: Smart. Vivacious. Understanding. Passionate. Bipolar.
Three Life Facts:
- Merek has always felt like second best in his life, to his elder brother. He is even engaged to the girl his brother was previously engaged to. Leliana Stark is still a mystery to him. He doesn't want to make her unhappy but is fairly sure she is.
- The one person that Merek always knows is in his corner is his sister. He has odd moods that go from upset, to depressed, to overly happy, and she's one of the only people who can comfort him from them.
-Merek worries about being the heir of Storm's End. He worries if he's really up to the tasks ahead of him. He hopes that in Leliana Stark he will find a Lady who will guide him in tough times with her experience. They have very different knowledge bases.

So I wanted to have a Northern storyline so Kelin could learn to rule and also there has to be stark in Winterfell at all times. Is anyone else interested in being there? Letty had an idea for the first skip of a harvest festival.
