I'm with Manny, I don't like pickles. I'm proud of him for liking it in the end though. I cannot still muster eating one.

I liked how it all turned into a competition of the family doing things they dislike. Pickles are yucky but I always try food even if i dislike the look of it.

Yeah, I try them too. At least I can decide for myself if I will still eat them or not. I'd rather eat those sausages over the pickles.

Girls you are both invited to my house if you ever come to Argentina! Actually Sis, argentine food and spanish don't have much in common. I grew up with spanish grandparents, so I have plenty experience Spanish peopel focus more on rice and fish, whereas here it's all about the meat. And Linds, here we call the whole meal "asado": blood sausages, chorizo, other cow parts that I think you're better off not knowing, meat, chicken and pork, and it's usually served with salads.

I love Spanish food too. Our country was colonized by Spain so there's been a strong influence of Spanish in food, clothing & architecture here. I like chorizo (with rice), escabeche, and paella. Sorry for the OT, it's Manny's fault.
