Hi, Nina! Arinna already went to bed.

She told me she had a busy day. She went to Montana(Bulgaria) and had to take a test for her job. She got back home a few hours ago and now she's gone to bed.

But anyway, I was talking to her and she was going to bed around the time you posted to her here. She's often multitasking and playing Sims or watching TV shows when she's also online on FF, so she might not have noticed before bedtime. I don't know how she does that.

And tomorrow is Good Friday! Easter is almost here! I always loved this time of year because Easter for me always meant spending time with my family, going to my grandparents and having our Easter baskets with eggs, jellybeans, chocolate bunnies, and traditional Ukrainian Paska bread blessed at the Ukrainian church. Then going to my aunt's house for borscht and spaghetti dinner and sitting down to watch The Ten Commandments on the ABC Sunday Night Movie. Then my mom would drive me home to my dad's house and I'd watch the rest of the movie with my dad while sitting on the sofa. The weather would be warm, and the end of the school year and summer vacation was just around the corner. I miss my home and my family. I miss the 80's like crazy.

Yes, so it's an hour earlier there compared to Bulgaria. Like I stated above. I'm perfectly capable of telling time. It's one of my many gifts.

That sounds like lovely traditions! I'm very depressed to be here over Easter. It doesn't feel right.

It is. I really miss those days. Both my grandparents and my aunt have all passed away now. I never get to go there anymore. This is the church we went to. The pics are really big so I'll put them in spoiler tags.

I'm sorry you miss your home. Is there anything you can do this Easter over here?

I hope I can, Nina. But it's all the way in central Philadelphia and I don't have a car. Hopefully one day I'll be in a better positon. Mom doesn't even go there anymore now that my grandmother is gone. It's lonely not having anyone them left. The last time I was at the church was my grandmother's funeral.

I'm sorry Easter has to be such a bummer, Nina. I wish there was something you could do. I have a church nearby that I can go to, but I'm working this Sunday, unfortunately. I still love Easter, but it's a bit depressing with most of my family gone.

I heard that public transport isn't all that bad in Philadephia though? As for church if not your former church then the one that is close by: Can't you go Saturday evening?

Yeah, I don't know. I hope it'll be over soon. Then it's 50 days to Pentecost... and I'm glad when all this is over, then I'm not constantly reminded of what I'm missing until Advent.
