Well according to an article on Deadline about Francois' upcoming new role in Unreal season 4, filming for the show would not overlap with Midnight Texas, so even if MT were to be renewed for a season 2, it's possible for Francois to work on both shows. I think this has been mentioned before in this thread...so I would not consider Francois' new show as any indication that MT is cancelled...we just don't know the fate of MT yet...

true, but Midnight Texas is not canceled yet either so there's still a chance that it could get renewed...at least now we know that even if it does get renewed, it wouldn't conflict with the filming for Francois' new gig on 'Unreal' season 4.

looks like filming for 'Unreal' season 4 has begun, here's a recent photo of Francois with the other casts during a table read for ep S4x03:

but we'll probably have to wait until 2019 to watch S4 of Unreal because S3 is scheduled to start airing early next year.
