Well, maybe they won't be together, but Barbie will rethink few things, and so will Ken. Contrary to appearances, this movie has a certain message.
So I recommend watching it when it becomes available on the net or TV. I'm just warning you that there's A LOT of pink there.

I only saw Ryan Gosling in the movies Stay (2005) and The Notebook (2004), where he played quite serious and sad roles.
That's why when I found out that he was going to play Ken in the Barbie movie, I was a bit shocked. Because Ryan... in a movie like this...
But it turned out he was really good in this role! Although so different from the ones I knew him from.

I don't think this movie will depress you.
It's true that some people consider it too woke, as Arinna mentioned, but I try to see some good sides in it, some important message.
I took away 3 things from this movie, firstly, that we shouldn't take people for granted.
That we simply deserve certain things or certain friendships/relationships and that's it.
Secondly, that sometimes when we try to fulfill ourselves, we hurt our loved ones/people who care about us, without even realizing it.
And thirdly, that the most important thing in life is EQUALITY, because patriarchy and matriarchy are equally unfair and toxic.
And that's all I wanted to say.
