It seems fitting in the sense that Steven on the original 'Dynasty' was obviously always fighting his homosexuality because Blake disapproved so he married Crystal's niece but that's not really a plot you can pull in 2018. The Carringtions are still shown as this traditionalist family, so I would expect them to not uproot the main seat of their company but leave that where they started out -- and you can't argue that even today Colorado has more oil and gas than Georgia.

That only worked with Heather Locklear. On a guy, that name just sounds like a hillbilly.

And yes, Nicolette Sheridan was born in England, but she lost her English accent a loooong time ago.

She's only performed with an American accent for most of her career. She just doesn't fit with Alexis. The irony is that she resembles Crystal more than Alexis.

Notice the irony that the actress playing Crystal is a brunette and Alexis is a blonde, which is the opposite of the original series?

I agree, Atlanta is a horrible setting for the show. Whomever chose Atlanta doesn't know anything about the Carringtons or the original show. Not having the Carringtons in Denver is like not having the Ewings in Dallas. There's a reason why Denver was the location of the original show. Atlanta is only good for tech companies, communication industry, transportation, banks, etc. It's not really for the Carrington oil empire.

Well, like I said, the writers were vague in that area. I've read interviews with Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy and they've said that they've had a plan for William's character from the beginning, so I don't think it's something as simple as just gaming addiction, otherwise they'd have just killed him off by now. But as I've said, I'm not into Westworld anymore, and it's questionable if I'll even bother with season 3, whenever it comes out.

So apparently they've cast Penelope Ann Miller as somebody's mum on 'Riverdale' and there's a picture of her and Skeet Ulrich on Instagram and now people think she's Gladys and are really annoyed. I'm like... okay, I don't know? I thought they'd surely make an announcement when casting Jughead's mum. It seems important somehow and I figured they'd try and look for somebody with more of a profile but maybe not. I just pictured Gladys as brunette for some reason.

Penelope Ann Miller? She's not bad. I liked her in the late 80's and early 90's. She was good in The Freshman as Marlon Brando's daughter.

Well, if she's Gladys then what's the big deal? We know that we're gonna get Falice eventually, and is Penelope really that bad? She can play a brunette.

I don't really get the fan hate on that one.

I don't say I get it. I just say I read it literally on reddit.

I think the fan hate is because people wanted it to be Neve Campbell or something but then I'm like... isn't Neve a bit too much for The CW? Idek why I'm thinking that but for some reason I do. The weird thing is they argued that Penelope looks more like Kevin's mum and I'm like... what gives you that idea?

Speaking of 'The Craft' though, I was thinking the other day randomly on how I hope that 'The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina' is going to be good and how I hope Rachel True could have a guest role or recurring role in it.
