Dear friends,

I don't know how to bring this news to you, because Alex and I are currently heartbroken! Last week we lost one of our own here, Christine! We learned this evening that sadly, she passed away last Wednesday.

We wanted to create this thread for her and to remember her as a part of our family here. We know it's not much, we never saw her or talked to her face to face, but she was here everyday and posting with us. She was helping us to keep this board alive.

We'll miss her terribly and I hope everyone, who knew her here to please join and say something nice for her or just honoring her in that way.

We believe that she had many friends here, so we want to say that everyone has to feel welcome here. If you were a friend of Christine, you are our friend now!

I can't believe it guys! I found out on twitter and since then I can't stop thinking about it, this news broke my heart today :broken_heart: I cried after reading this post!

She was a loyal fan, amazing friend and great person! I remember her warm welcome when I first visited this board!

She will be missed! May she rest in peace! This world is not fair! :no:

How will we even continue with rewatching without her :bawl: this is so sad! :broken_heart:

Hey guys,

I've been away from the board and FF and the internet itself for some time now since I was dealing with a very dificult situation on my own. My mother was diagnosed with cancer around July this year and she passed away on October 18th. I wish I had the time to come over and interact with you all and Christine on her last weeks/days but unfortunately it has not been easy for my family and I.

I remember the good times with the old gang and Christine included, I remember she would make me laugh and we would have great talks and always interactions via private messages. She was always so nice that she even let me borrow her credit card info to order some concert tickets twice.

I feel very sad that I couldn't interact much with her in the last few months but I know she now knows why.

I am not really sure what to say but I think we're all going to miss her, I know what her family is going through and from the bottom of my heart I hope they can find peace soon and I wish them and her loved ones a lot of strength. She's now in a better place, I'm sure. She will be terribly missed.

I agree with all of you, guys. :( This place won't be the same without her, but we have to keep coming here and posting. We have to remember the good times and hoping for the better future.

I also hope that this board can keep living at least few more years and I'm hoping that some of the old posters, and maybe new ones will come back.

We have to remember Christine as she was here - fun and caring and also... my posting buddy!

She was a fighter. We saw it with how much passion she fought for a S4 on twitter, she so desperately wanted them to continue the show and was so loyal to this fandom! It's a terrible loss, she will be missed :( I can't even express how sad I feel now!

I'm devastated. :cry: I'm going to miss Christine so much. I spent so much time posting with her I came to know her as a friend. This board won't be the same without her. Thank you all for your kind words. She will be remembered and missed by everyone.

You all know her even longer than I. I can imagine how terrible it feels :bawl: she's in a bette place now :love:

I'm so sorry to hear this news. I didn't know her but I just wanted to express my condolences.

I am very sorry to hear the news. We have never met in person but I will remember you when we used to post in the games thread until 3am and talked about the campaign. Rest in Peace Christine.

Thank you so much, Irina. :hug: Christine lived for this board and the show that she and all of us loved so much, and she fought so hard to keep the show alive with the Save The Borgias campaign. She was the one who submitted my idea to send packages of sardines to Showtime in protest. I'll miss her terribly. :( :broken_heart:

Thank you so much for using her icon, Irina! :hug: Just for a second I thought that this is all a big joke and she's back here, just to say that she's okay and this all is a huge mistake! :( I know it's silly, but I still look for her when I happen to visit and post in our board. Still hurts! She's gonna leave a huge whole in our hearts!

Please, please guys! Come here every day and just post, wherever thread you choose! Please, help us to keep this board alive and remember and honor Christine in this way!

I can't imagine she's not here anymore to post and rewatch with us and tell us when we start and about time zones etc :bawl: it's such a terrible lost for The Borgias fandom here and on twitter! :cry:

are we still rewatching? we said the rewatch from last week should be tomorrow, we thought she could join us since she wasn't here last week :(
