Hi, everyone! Please forgive me if I'm on and off today. I have a sore throat and I'm afraid I may be getting sick again.

Previously, on The Vatican OT thread.......

It's even in The Walking dead fandom. The Daryl/Carol shippers are hating so much on every Daryl/Beth scene, it's ridiculous.
And it's almost impossible to have a civil discussion, a lot of people are just harsh.

I found this vid on youtube, funny one : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6RaITtjcTy0
Thanks for the vid, Barbara! I think I've seen that one before.

Well, Katja, the Daryl/Carol shippers have to remember that Daryl/Carol began under Glen Mazzara's time as showrunner, and was probably something that was never intended by either Robert Kirkman or Frank Darabont. Darabont was fired by AMC early into the production of season two, so he had very little to do with anything that happened in that season. And I'm not too fond of anything that Mazzara brought to the show because of what he did to Andrea and Rick. I'm guessing that once Mazzara was removed from the show(probably at Kirkman's request) Kirkman decided to move the show back in a direction more in line with the comics, which is why you see Carol traveling with Tyrese and the girls, while Daryl and Beth are now on their own.

By the way, did you see last night's episode? I loved how Daryl had to carry Beth around after she sprained her ankle, like a married couple. But now someone has kidnapped Beth and run off, and Daryl has to find her.

That trailer looks interesting and I hope the new season will be good, for those who watch this TV Show.

I read something about Alison being reintegrated into Rosewood in PLL for the next season?
Duh, if that's true, I'm seriously considering to ditch the show. I can't stand her.

Season 5 is still in a process of writing. As far as I know, only the first episode is ready, because they posted a pic on twitter. The title is yet to be announced, so we don't know anything for sure yet. But it would be a dumb idea if they try to make Ali look good, giving the fact how bad she is in fact. She's a liar, manipulative bitch and she has to stay in that way. If they write her in season 5, I think that's the way they should write her. I think they'll fail if they want her to look good.

That said, I don't trust the writers however, they screwed it enough this season. But maybe they have an idea of how to fix it? Yeah, I hope they fix my ship there at least.

Thanks for bringing the trailer! I didn't expect so many new scenes, I thought it'd be like the second one with just 10 sec of new material. Glad I was wrong but PRETTY TIRED of having 0.004 sec of J/C in every single promo?

Going back to the fandoms talk, I think the reason why The Borgias fandom was the best, is because it's divided by intense shippers/non shippers that respect the shippers and that's very weird in a fandom... there are no ships wars because there are just a few fans who ever shipped Cesare with someone else or Lucrezia with someone else and most of us CL shippers respect all those relationships, except maybe Ursula/Cesare, but every other we were OK with, plus we knew it was going to happen since it's a Historical drama so...

Yeah there were a few people who liked to trash on TB and compare it to Borgia, but I don't consider them part of the fandom so ...

I think AHS fandom would be amazing if there weren't any intense shippers in it, to be more specific, any Tate/Violate teenagers who are in love with Tate and want the actors to play a couple in every season. Evan Peters fangirls are also pretty annoying. But casual viewers/non shippers are pretty hilarious! I got to liveblog this year and oh god, every Wednesday I would crack up when AHS was on, that part of the fandom is pretty neutral and pretty damn funny.

Of course I saw it.
Loved every of their scenes. He was always touching her and the way he looked at her at the table....
And then he ran all the way after the car and was so devastated...
The only good thing about the kidnapping is that Beth probably won't die this season, at least in my opinion it would be too predictable and obvious now.

Next episode will probably only be Carol, Tyreese and the kids. They really need to get rid of Lizzie. The promos were very creepy, showing her playing with a walker in the yard.

I have started to watch The Walking Dead. It is a good show but something makes me uneasy. It is the stereotypes about gender roles. Men lead, women follow. Men hunt, women do the washing. It is always men who make decisions and I am fed up with these stereotypes. The show is supposed to take place in 21st century, not 15th ! Women in this show seem weak, especially Carol who is very passive and submissive. Lori obeys her husband. Andres is the only woman of the group with a personality !

Yeap, several websites confirmed, they just don't clarify why she's leaving, some say it's her choice, some say Plec "didn't know what to do with her character" others say she's pregnant and wants to dedicate time to her baby, who knows.

I am shattered tho, after that episode and now knowing she won't come back? she got her "happy ending" in a way, but Klaus and their relationship I cannot.

If it was Plec's idea, I'm not surprised. That's not the first time she "didn't know" what to do with a character. Seriously, and that woman is a writer?!
