I alwaya hoped for Neal yo settle down and have Peter's life so I couldn't ship them she always have been a bad influence on him

Somehow yes. He doesn't want the man to have a better life. I hated when he stole the treasure for him and Neal and how he was pushing Neal so hard to escape and all he was thinking about was the biggest score of his life, that was so annoying.
