You will be surprise how many people ship a character with a "psychopath" murderer. Granted it may happen more in supernatural type shows. (Especially with vampires being its centered theme.) But there is other shows out there.

But for more or less it depends on how they handled the storyline. If it is a main character, and if a redemption arc is handled well and not rushed and sloppy. Then sure. However, I dont think there should be any "fan service" scenes, because the fans are pressuring them, and in my opinion that is where things get tricky.
